They say "Even if this is only the beginning, it has allowed us to confirm new kinematics and geometry principles."
Oh yeah, looks reeaaall good...
I do! After every ride, I brush off the dust/dirt with a fine brush/toothbrush. Then I smear a drop or two of Fork Boost about 1/3 from the seal on each stanchion and compress the fork a few times. Then I wipe clean, cycle again, wipe clean again to ... more »
@lkubica I'm running a Cane Creek Valt progressive coil on mine, which is supposed to give like 15-20% progression, which gets the '19-20 Meta to around 30% total (kinematicss + spring). For me at 180lbs it's the perfect setup. That's an idea if you ... more »
As a clevis-driven-shock bike owner (Commencal Meta AM '20), I have done quite a bit of research before fitting a coil shock on my bike. Commencal used the Fox and Rock Shox coil shocks stock on the top-end '19 builds, but none in 2020. Maybe because ... more »
I thought Pierron's head tube angle looked steep, and by my Photoshop measurements (after leveling the wheels), it looks like it's 64.0 vs 62.2 on Coulanges' bike (which looked like the slackest of the bunch). I don't know if that's relevant or not for
Is that a proto TRP or E Thirteen drivetrain too ? I don't recall seeing those cranks anywhere yet.
Edit : It looks like the Hope crankset's shape and center bolt interface indeed! The spider looks exactly like the Hope 2/3x direct mount spider too with the bashguard mounted on the outside ring tabs.

I can't remember if it's been mentioned before, but I just heard that Kona has stopped their DH team and removed the DH bikes from their lineup. In the Beyond the tape podcast, Mathieu Dupelle said that they ended their relationship with Kona since they ... more »
I think that everyone needs to do his part. First, here in Eastern Canada, we have to drive quite a bit and pay entry fees to go riding each time. 90% of all trails are managed by a private entity where you need to buy a 250$ season pass or 20-25$ daily ... more »
In the #4 pit bits gallery you can see the new tire's tread in one of the pics! (sorry I can't check back which one it is right now)
Crossing my fingers too!
Without changing the whole road gap section they could just dig a bit of the road to lenghten the landing. That way slower riders and people who had trouble in the previous section could still land without having to case it or pull too hard and crash. ... more »
The lowers remind me of my old RS Mag 21. 90's mtb vibes for sure!

I inquired eThirteen about those tires a few weeks ago and they said that the production dates are unknown because of all the delays going on. I have asked them again this morning after seeing Remy's bike check so we'll see if they have new estimated ... more »
I can't remember which one, but I've recently listen to a podcast or a Facebook live where Commencal's DH team manager said that they were all riding Supreme mullets since a little while and loving it... Good thing from them to offer their DH bike in ... more »
Schwalbe Dirt Reynolds on the back of the new Meta Power AM 29... curious to see what the pattern will be like!
