I've been riding a Tubolito on my front wheel with a E13 TRS Trail tire (thin /light carcass for 29" @ 1000g) in trails filled with sharp rocks without a single issue. It's been in the wheel for more than a year and does not deflate any faster than any other tube I've used. Never had a flat nor had to use a patch, but I still carry them just in case. Definitely will buy another Tubolito if I ever need to!

In my opinion, the Trunnion mount is totally unnecessary in this frame's shape since it has enough room for a water bottle and a lower top tube for smaller sizes. A 230x65mm shock would have been perfect in there, but I guess as long as the frame is straight it shouldn't be too bad. Gorgeous bike though! Hopefully they'll make an aluminium version at some point.

I think that everyone needs to do his part. First, here in Eastern Canada, we have to drive quite a bit and pay entry fees to go riding each time. 90% of all trails are managed by a private entity where you need to buy a 250$ season pass or 20-25$ daily ... more »

Congrats Evan! I love your philosophy and bike design. That particular frame ticks all the boxes on my dream frame wish list. Also, I am very happy to see that someone cares about tolerances and alignment. I've bought a few frames which had pretty sloppy tolerances for the price paid and I find this unacceptable for high-end stuff. Seems like your frames will be awesome, well thought-out and durable. Kudos for that. Thanks for sharing so much info in the podcast and looking forward to see and ride your bike sometime!

Wow. Going through the east coast bike possibilities in my head for Neko, FTW came up as a “man, that would rule but obviously would never happen.” This is seriously awesome. Best of luck Neko and Frank.
