I have nothing against the company, but that is one of the greatest MTB puns I've ever heard. Well done Sir.

You are correct. I meant I don't consider it a good front tire, and for rear would not use it in magix, would last 1 week. Magix in these older tires used to be softer to the touch, very apparent, new magix in wild Enduro front is weird, stickier but harder compound beneath, at the base of center of the knobs..

my summary on this tire is: fantastic rear tire on gum-x rubber for mixed conditions in the dry, perfect mid volume and high puncture resistance. I would not use the magix version or in the front.

I "rested a magic x on the rear on borrowed bike, and I tore off 3 in a day.. However, I raced couple races (including ews Madeira) and Wil front gum x and rear gum x held beautifully. I have dh34s waiting to be tested now.. That tire looks awesome

be careful to go back to the game with a bike that puts you off, frustrates your energy to keep pushing it.. it all comes down to budget.. you can pedal and get fit on a $300 huffy... (or Schwinn).. but do your homework.. check this out https://www.vitalmtb.com/features/Vital-MTBs-2-000-Mountain-Bike-Comparison,2793 ... more »

if you push fluid towards the lever (from the caliper) and the system is full and "closed" (as in no syringe in the lever, or you are pushing the syringe) you will blow those seals/gaskets..open that up and check everything is in place and not broken.. ... more »

Drop coil conversion on fox 36 and you have the same weight of fox 38 and a waaaay better fork.. push does up to 170, vorsprung up to 180mm.

recirculate and "splashing easily" up to the seals are different things in my "engineering" brain. I remember my MRP Ribbon Coil with some protectors on these bleed ports to avoid them being pressed while packaged, one was oily., this was back in 2017 ... more »
