Any one have an idea of when rockshox will be releasing this new suspension to the public? Eager to get my hands on one of these new shocks!

I wonder if they're testing a similar idler position to what the Scott team did back in the day, right at the main pivot. That should help isolate chain forces from the suspension, right?

Upon zooming in on the original photo, the rear shock looks a heck of a lot different than the current Super Deluxe. Maybe a new shock in the works from Rockshox? 'Bout time they updated the Super Deluxe to keep up with Fox.

Are we going to see your progressive springs in heavier weights?

Not to distract from the core of the conversation here, but this is something I wanted to bring up. One thing that really surprised me while recently working in a bike shop for a brief bit, is how much waste comes with packaging. It's interesting/shocking ... more »

Was watching Amaury Pierron's race run from Andorra, which is absolutely insane to watch... like wtf. But I actually noticed that he was running the old Code levers on his bike, kinda curious as to why he'd run these instead of the new Code's. Any ideas?

Half of these aren't even legit rumors, just people doing some social media stalking at taking wild guesses

Reply to Rear tyre - fast rolling, good cornering - Aggressor, Minion SS, Rock Razor 3/26/2018 9:12 AM

All this really comes down to what kind of trails you ride most, how steep they are, and what the dirt composition is. I could see where a minion SS would shine but for my trails, it would be a wild tire to run. I really recommend the Aggressor, awesome ... more »

The Elevensix is one amazing shock, everyone I know loves theirs and can't speak more highly of it. I would be stoked to get one onto my nomad 4 soon! The only thing that I think holds a lot of riders back from getting one is the price tag, me included. ... more »

What would it actually take for the sport of downhill to break away from UCI and start their own international series free of UCI's bullshit (couldn't think of a better word). EWS has been so successful and I love how there's always new venues, it's ... more »

Regardless of what bike he's riding, I just want the man to win world champs this year, definitely deserves it.

I think it's a trail bike, I'm pretty sure I see a dropper post and a bottle cage

Eliot doesn't really hide that Giant is testing 29ers as well. Like Sideshow said, I think the majority of the elite teams are going to be on 29ers. So what's the count of teams running big wheels that we know of already? Giant, cube, mondraker, santa ... more »

You can also see that it's a raw aluminum frame, so clearly a prototype frame.

I imagine Commencal's team will be running bikes similar to this, but with some bigger wheels

I'd say it's more of a marriage between a commencal and and evil. looks rad!

Noticed that Sam Hill is still on the chain reaction roster, maybe we'll see him at a few world cups this year?
