The new Brain, I have been running it in its softest setting and still notice no substantial loss in pedaling forces. The Ai2 rotors are super light, but there is a noticeable loss in braking power with them, but that doesn't affect a 135 lb racer as much as most people.

The Control SLs use a DT Swiss 54 tooth star ratchet, I replaced the stock grease with Chris King freehub oil. Its a little louder now but with much less friction from the freehub, no more ghost pedaling.

There is a surprising amount of clearance for a full suspension with short chainstays. 2.35 is probably not unreasonable.

I like to run super low pressures in my fork, so I think I need to put that last volume spacer in to add a little more support.

I used to run 36 and 38 chainrings with 11-40 cassettes, so I tried the 30 with the 9-46 and it's amazing to spin up climbs and have the same max speed.

This is my first time using a dropper post and I like it a lot. The slight delay from the button press isn't a big problem on the trail. However, the amount of time the valve is open causes me to sit back down and drop the post again in accident.

The small button is difficult to find sometimes, so I just mash my thumb all over the remote and it gets the job done.
