2/27/2026 9:22am Yeah. I'd say that's because no one said it was quick. But it is possible vs impossible, the actual important fact.

2/27/2026 6:18am DJI is mostly similar, with a 800w battery you have to remove the display on the top tube to reach the batter mount screw. Possible to do trail side, not preferable in my book.

2/26/2026 6:30am 👆 These are what I thought of too to appeal to the audience Specialized was targeting, unless you want the down tube to say Specialized.

2/25/2026 6:34am There's a new RockShox spare parts catalog out, and there's some nice vice blocks listed in the new Boxxer section. Their description gives this text: 10 mm for Pike / SID / Lyrik / ZEB air shaft, Charger damper shaft, 14 mm for Lyrik / ZEB / BoXXer air shaft, 25 mm for Rush Damper IFP, 27.3 mm for Charger RC Damper IFP, 29.06 mm for Charger 3.2 Damper IFP, 30.6 mm for Lyrik Twin Tube, 34 mm for ZEB / BoXXer Twin Tube, 20 mm for ButterCup To me, that sounds like Zeb and Lyrik will get this new...

2/24/2026 12:06pm The changes to the B1 all seems like a response to issues people had with the A1 without admitting it. And the biggest complaint of all, "the lever is too hard to pull" confounds me to this day. Really? I think the A1 line is preferrable in this chart, at least it's unique to other options an not similar like...

2/24/2026 10:23am All things/options being equal, does a 19.5mm/18mm to 18mm/18mm piston make much of a difference in stopping power?

2/20/2026 3:02pm Organic or incorrect rotor size for application I'd agree but I think the sintered has a large degree of modulation.

Jokes aside, I have had no problems with my Mavens, and would be really happy to see a Shimano equivalent for those that prefer Shimano.

2/18/2026 6:37am I wonder what's the mechanical power limit of the motor? Have they tested it to failure? I do enjoy an exploding car engine video.

1/30/2026 11:24am Crestline added swappable dropouts to ther emtb from their DH bike. It seems like a must have for any new frame from any brand moving forward.

1/26/2026 12:00pm With this LinearXL talk, I reviewed the patents SRAM has recently filed for their suspension forks, and this is a roundup of what we'll see roll out within the next few months. 1. Linear XL: Reduces casting ramp. This will likely be accompanied by a larger negative spring, which will mean softer off the top but more mid-stroke due do to higher pressures being required. But without crazy end stroke progression on 38mm stanchion forks. 2. Adjustable bottom-out bumper: Rubber bumper similar to a coil shock, adjustable from the bottom of the fork to allow/adjust bottom-out feel. Less reliance on...
