Thanks Jeff! I bet that will help keep the bike a bit more playful and easier to maneuver in the air. Really appreciate the time!

Hi Jeff! Thank you so much for making the video review "should I buy the V1 Sentinel in 2020"! One of the most useful videos for us mere budget-conscious mortals researching the Pinkbike classifieds and lower build kit brand new bikes. My question revolves around sizing for the V1. I am 6'2" with right around a 34" inseam and thus fall between the L and XL skewing more toward the XL. In the video you clearly suggest to size down, I think this is a good idea however I am concerned that by sizing down to the L I will feel "on top" of the bike as opposed to "inside" the bike. However I have been riding an undersized bike for some time now...coming from a Size L Evil Insurgent on 27.5's with 455 reach maybe the 475 reach of the L Sentinel will be perfect. My whole reason for upgrading is to test out big wheels and start riding a frame that actually fits my body. Ride in the PNW and hit a good amount of steep chunky terrain, jump trails with decent sized gaps/drops, and of course some fast singletrack with tech mixed in. One thing I appreciate about my evil is how nimble and fun it is when the corners are in rapid succession. I worry that going with an XL Sentinel that bike will be a straight line plow bike with limited agility. Can you talk me off of cliff for considering the XL? Thanks!

I think that the people here like you. It's just that you're a smart guy and think in paragraphs instead of sentences. I do wish you would consider getting more active in the forums again. Your input is valuable.

Yo Jeff. You are a valuable voice on this website with a lot of experience and knowledge. And I dearly hope that you do not give up entirely on us. I say us loosely because I'm only a lowly forum mod and have no real say for Vital as a whole.

Taking my own advice, I've created a new forum topic related specifically to suspension tuning and maintenance. I hope that you will share your ideas and experiences and techniques and horror stories and what not.

Jeff,
About to pull the trigger on the WFO. In your experience, will the WFO be a marked improvement climbing over my SC carbon Nomad. Been riding SC forever, this being my third Nomad as well as my V10 and I have never thought the SC VPP pedaled well. Always loved the slack feel and the you sit in it, not on it of the Nomads but sacrificed when it comes to earning your turns. I am 5'11", 200 pounds. Sizing charts show as a tweener between the med and the large. All my SC's have been large frames. Thoughts?
