You left out 9point8, which is a shame as it is by far the most reliable and has 175 and 200mm options to boot

The Devinci Django was born as a completely new bike in early 2016, first with 27.5-inch wheels and later joined by 29-inch version. As the brand's first attempt to create a truly worthy 120mm travel trail bike, we couldn’t wait to see if the Django was ready to be unchained. We headed to Tucson, Arizona for Vital MTB Test Sessions to give it a proper go in a wide variety of terrain. Evil seems to have a habit of coming out with cool new stuff right about the time we get to testing. We were going to try out one of their other models, but when organizing Vital MTB Test Sessions this year they offered up a brand new rig. Of course we jumped at the chance to try out the fresh ride, as it looks to have some refinement and new features to fit into Evil’s growing line of trail weapons. Fun is a resounding theme in Evil’s line of bikes, and this 130mm travel ripper is no different. Unlike some...

I just got my Calling built up and the first thing I noticed besides the plush initial suspension feeling was how it ramps up in the mid travel area to provide a firmer feel to assist in pumping. In fact it pumps much better than my last 3 bikes (Norco Sight, Spider 275c and ACV). I wonder if setting the sag below 30% you lost some of that ramp up and when you were actively trying to pump you were dipping further into the travel and missed that "pumping" area I feel. I agree 100% in all other aspects of...

The SL frame in a large is approx. 6.10lbs. The frame only option will not be available for approx. 6mo but that could change. The Elite model in a size small weighed 27lbs exactly without pedals.

Granted YT makes a proper bike, that you can't argue that it does the simple aspects of what a bike needs to do...but what sets the Spider 275c apart it as the ride quality, the service (tell me you've seen a more detailed and user serviceable owners manual and I will buy you a beer), aesthetics and name brand product (no unbranded product to be seen)...these are all things a boutique brand requires and utilizes to set its bar high compared to bargain priced bikes. Granted the $$ speak a lot but that's what makes it unique, special and not...

I've been fortunate enough to hammer on some of the best bikes on the market in recent years and last year going into the new lineup have been blown away by the product from Intense. The bikes are so super-dialed that it's crazy. Part spec at each price point in the line is near perfect and the overall performance is incredible. A lot of good things going on with the brand. Like the last comment, yes, it's boutique brand, but they are pretty incredible bikes.
