Trek fuel ex 8 year 2020 All-in-one trail model gets a new chassis to increase performance. The aluminum chassis excels in a clean look, designed to receive a single chainring only, and internal wiring. Chassis stiffness increases with the bottom link connecting the shock eliminated, combined with a straight beam between the crank and the steering head which uses a Knock Block for the fork particularly annoying during car loading but not on the filed.
Efficient ABP rear suspension pedal helps with a unique Re: activ fox shock tailored to bike, combined with 2.6 wide tire for dampening and grip.
No choice, getting out of the car: A rigid chassis transfers my limited leg strength effortlessly, even with an open absorber. Although there is slight resistance to movement due to the wide tires, the softness it gives worth it. The grip is excellent in dry conditions, but after a rainy day xtr4 bontrager tires slides on rocks and collects mud excessively.
I am pleased to find that Trek has kept crank arms 175mm high from the ground, which facilitates the raising of its leaves and lowers fear of encounters between pedals and rocks.
One important point I feel is a great spacing for size 47 shoes that I wear, no rubbing heels in the chainstay at all. Signs to rise, time to go down: Smiles in every direction, the bike feels nimble but without jitter in the handlebars. Every little rock has a chance to practice leaping into the air, landing pleasantly thanks to a rack with an effective 130mm of move.
Up front, the fox rhythm 34 fork works nicely, the 140mm move works in tune with 29 tires despite insensitivity during slow motion. It is important to note in favor of aggressive riders, in the Carbon 9.8 / 9.9 standard fox 36 OEM for enhancing ability with added toughness. Trek also approves the use of a 150mm long fork for those who are most interested. I reach a high rock while pushing the handle of the chair, enjoying 150 mm travel from the seat post, gliding on the fork with excellent stability.
Remarkable Data Reminder: Trek has updated geometry without choosing extremes, such as a 66 ° head angle with a 66.5 ° slant angle option by a left-arm link. The large size frame wheelbase stands at 1211mm with reach off 470mm, allowing movement without going to much backwards in a way that would impair control with short chainstay 437 for easy direction change on tight corners.
Credit Card Iron: Aluminum version shows good value for the Carbon Sisters, the ex8 model costs NIS 15,900 but there are discounts not to worry. Combat sitting position with relatively low handlebars, rack with unique absorber constitute a winning combination against distances with excessive increases. Facing the rack, clinging to the ground with technical riding helps me with the challenges on the rocky ground .In summary, excellent trail bikes. Anyone looking for pure xc / enduro bikes will be disappointed, but anyone who combines unlimited styles will have a life partner. End long cycling with a desire for more, while searching for live singles and new elements. Suddenly I'm attracted to something new ..
Prominent parts: Sram Eagle gx gears Bontrager wheel with a wide 29 inner rim Bontrager chair travel 150mm
bontrager 780mm wide bar
Shimano Deor Berks with 200 front disc Rear absorber fox float re: aktiv.
Less compelling parts: Fork fox 34 rhythm
