Fair enough. Speaking personally I would say that the label doesn't mean much to me if it performs as advertised, which it did. I'm hoping to get my hands on one to ride at home.

We noted the same thing. When we asked Canyon's engineers to label the rear end, they defined it as Horst-link nevertheless.

Not too interested in the tires, but the quality of Vital's reviews continue to impress. Great detail, relevant comparisons, reasonable suggestions for improvement, keep up the great work!

"Finally, we will compare athletes improvements with Halo Sport to their historical data to see if any significant differences exist". The control data that we'll be comparing to is testing results from the past few seasons, on a similar training plan, using identical testing protocols.

Certainly! It will be interesting to see how it plays out, both with the review and potential future uses. I think I'm just a little cynical, especially when there are pro athletes putting stickers on their frames to dampen vibrations and wearing magnetic bracelets that are...more

I agree with what you're saying - a scientific conclusion can't be made. You're bang on that there are too many uncontrolled variables. That said, we've got a few years worth of data to compare to for either rider, their training programs won't differ much from previous seasons. If their long-term improvements are more significant we can infer or suggest that it had something to do with HaloSport, but we can't prove it.

Either way, there is evidence from a number of studies to suggest this is worth checking out. Worst case scenario, it won't make a difference. Best case scenario, it works.

So far so good, even after a few days of rock flinging in the bike park and a few shuttles. Peeling will take time, but I'll update if anything appears.

Had the slash a month everything I thought about it has been said in this review, I even converted the forks to float as didn't think there was need to use talas. The bike is just fast!!

Cool. I'd start with a 150mm Pike. The 160mm airshaft is not a big change if needed. I don't ride Prevost, but Forbidden is one of my favourite places to ride. I'm currently on a 160/155mm Pivot Mach 6 and I'll keep that bike as my winter ride.
