It said one tester was 6'5". You think he should have been on a large?

I really enjoy these videos. This video could just as easily be titled "how to make the same old ride less boring" or "how not to be a pussy." I love doing all of those things when I ride the same old trail for the thousandth time. Good tips all. Thanks team Vital + Art.
Sorry but even mitch whiplaloto can't make them look appealing to me

Although I can not comment specifically on the differences in the reach of the Trek vs. Pivot, I actually approached the Test Sessions with reach in mind. This subject is something that I feel like is grossly mis-understood which is why I wanted to reduce the variables as much as possible in order to provide consistent and relevant information. One thing to keep in mind, is that a frame's geometry is far more than a couple of measurements, every length and angle plays a part in the ride quality of a bike.
For reference: I use an 800mm bar and 55mm stem because I am 6'"5 with a 6"7" wingspan and this setup provides me with the best balance between control and room for my long ass legs.
I put the exact same cockpit on all the bikes I rode at the Test Sessions in order to limit the variables and isolate the bike's geometry. The longer bikes were very stable at high speed, but noticeably harder to get the front end up and the overall feel was much less playful. The shorter bikes were playful, but much less stable at speed. Trek seems to have found a great balance with the Slash providing a very well balanced ride. Up and down. I just wanted to add some perspective to this discussion so you can better interpret our opinion of each bike.

Cheers for the critique, SDMTB'er.
I assure you that there are no biases toward the big boys vs the little guys. Vital has featured many very positive reviews of boutique brands, advertiser or not, including a handful of bikes made by Pivot.
There are a few distinctions that you...more

Lear went for it, landed a little wild. That's why the video cuts out there. Haha. Nice one Team Furbs!
ENVE interview process: "How good are you at drawing circles?"
Unrelated, I liked this release a lot.
I would still totally go for a MOAB from Maverik right now.
When will they be available?

I've heard the jumps are nice in Trinidad, but that it's the trannies that really stand out.
