Additional Info

Rider: 170cm, 65kg kitted, ex-roadie, meh at MTB and having a blast learning!

This is my first hardtail w/ modern geo (coming off a 2014 HT w/ 72* HA) and it’s pretty much the most fun I’ve ever had on a bike (my full-squish is languishing as a result).

Our terrain is lots of loose-over-hard with occasional loam, long gravel road climbs w/ punchy bits to get to the steep descents which can have everything from slippery loose gravel to rim-deep dust to waist-deep ruts and a few miraculous weeks in the winter and spring when everything is hero dirt.

More details: Mudguard is a RRP ProGuard and it stays on all year because pea-gravel to the eye sucks, bell is a Spurcycle Compact, bottle cage is King ti, pump is Lezyne, computer mount is cobbled together from 3M VHB tape and a stem mount (https://www.76projects.com/shop/enduromount have a sweet one but hard to get where I live).
