Would like to see these tested at a more common PSI. 26/27 on a 29er is pretty high compared to what most average consumers are using. How about 22/23 to see if the durability claims hold up?

By and large, yes, all the other bikes fared better in this one arena. It's a really challenging trade-off because the other side of this coin is such a fun ride. At the other extreme was the Spartan HP which paves trails but isn't so much a lively bike.

I've had my Spire for around two weeks now and have been very impressed with it. It's interesting that you & other sites have said the rear suspension is harsh - that's just about the last word I would use to describe it. That super deluxe shock must be doing the bike...more
