You must have a much different leg/torso ratio than me. I'm 6' 3" with a 150mm dropper on a Patrol frame. 150mm drop is plenty low for me but I could fit 175mm on this frame just barely.

You only have to drill one hole to run a stealth dropper on an old bike. I bet that cable really affects the ride, throws you off balance and whatnot.

Sweet, they somehow magically made it work with no battery. Good to see some real companies still coming out with real, useful products.

You have a hose for your brake, tell me a disadvantage to the dropper cable that attaches cleanly to that hose?

Wireless things on something that's literally attached to the thing it's getting the signal from, and you have to charge a battery on a human powered vehicle. Just imagine if they could make it powered by your thumb and require no battery? Then it might go along with the whole bicycle thing.

You're hilarious. I'm impressed that there's so many Sram employees moderating the comments with up/down votes. This is only a product for Outerbike/Ebike/Yuppie types. If you have something on your mountain bike that you have to charge besides a headlight, go find a different sport.

Another vomit inducing product by the out of touch corporate MTB industry.

Really? I had to run max volume spacers on mine, Deluxe RT shock though.

Have heard of warranty issues with them, which scared me away because I don't have the disposable income to risk it. A rider told me that you have to pay crash replacement price for things that should have been covered in a standard manufacturer defect warranty. Same rider also told me he loves the way the bike rides.

The new colors are great, nice and simple unlike the '18 two tone. Although I've just bought an '18 Ponderosa Green and liking the two tone more than I thought I would.

RIP Kona and screw vitalmtb for posting motorcycle content again. Time for some new MOUNTAIN BIKE web sites.

They want to sell people the worst of both worlds. Like why not get this if you're going to have a motor and want quiet?: https://www.ktm.com/us/e-ride/ Maybe I'll get that and mount some bicycle cranks to the sides, then pretend to pedal. According to ebiker logic it would have all the rights of a bicycle at that point and I can take it anywhere that hikers or mountain bikers go. Gives me all the rights. Roost all the Trek Powerfly riders in the face.

The issue with electric mopeds is how it kills advocacy, not supports it, because motorized vehicles disguised as bicycles is a nightmare for land managers when they can no longer distinguish and can cause a blanket ban of mtb altogether. Mountain bike riding is absolutely booming in popularity as is. We definitely don't need additional people on trails who aren't even doing it for the right reasons. This article headlines with "14mph uphill", yet another big reason they can't share our trails. There's just no good aspects to this, get a motorcycle and have more fun if you want a motor. Electric moped is a lot like Trump, a dumb greedy pig who is taking everyone down with him but we have to put up with it for a couple more years.

A trail in one resort with lazy money hungry land managers... I'm talking about the bigger picture.

Actually it is, since motor vehicles are not allowed on mountain bike or hiking trails. So there's that. Bicycle or motorcycle, choose one or one of each. Keep your moped shit off trails you have no right to ride. You know people are pretending to be cyclists on these and not sticking to atv trails.

WTF, why are you posting this garbage on a mountain bike site? Make a different site for your moped crap.
