Added a comment about video Dream Fulfilled! A Paralyzed Martyn Ashton Overcomes All and Races Crankworx Air DH 9/27/2017 1:36 AM

No just checked the result sheet he did come in last place in his class 1:40 behind the winner. I’m guessing Marty’s bike still meets uk ebike laws witch limits the assist to 15mph(if I’m not mistaken) so that would essentially put him at a disadvantaged as he has to be brave and keep off the brakes to keep speed especially as I’m guesing he also can’t pump that good too. But it was amazing. I want to see more para-mtb going on let’s get the UCI to sort it out and have these guys racing world cups Marty’s proven it’s doable

I seam to remember someone telling me the protected riders didn't start till the rider in front had finished so redbull could show whole runs and the only reason you don't see a full run is because they can't get cameras on the whole track. I must have been wrongly informed

So true. I grew up round the corner from Steve and he used to ride in the local wood with a train of 50 little kids all storking him. We were all sprinting like mad and he just seamed to freewheel off into the distance like he was on a motorbike

$300 for cassette!!!! My bike was only £280 and it gets me up and down all the trails in the Peak District. I would understand the price of it was for a high tech peice of suspension but it's just a bit of steel and steels cheap
