DAYUM!!! Awesome build.
Can't wait to get my DS9 Dreadnought, hopefully this month!
How come you opted for a MRP SXg lower guard and not the e13 custom chainguide+roller for this bike?
Any issues with chain retention/friction/noise?

No issues, you only need to use 1 chain with this guide. The e13 guide “pinches” too much and requires more than 126 links in most scenarios.
*edit*
And the only friction/noise heard is from the idler pulley but there are aftermarket options to resolve that. The noise is only noticeable on the stand in the absence of other noises.

Just wondering if the regular chain (i.e up to 126 links) is too stretched with that setup, due to the 30mm of rearward axle path the bike's suspension gets in full compression/bottom out scenarios?
Resulting as such in premature wear and/or contact of the chain with obstacles, in between the bb area and tire, like going over roots, rocks, etc?
