Heard from a friend of a friend that the next Sight will have a high-pivot option. Taking it with a grain of salt of course, but interesting if true.

Seems like a concentric axle pivot to me, although if the rest of their linkage doesn't chance from current Meta models then the anti-rise will be very similar to the single pivot design, but with a flat or increasing curve rather than decreasing.

Either there's a linkage under that fabric, or we have another victim to Big Flex-Stay propaganda

LLS (Looks Like a Supreme)

I'm assume it would for Factory models since the HSR adjuster is located there. Not sure if the Performance Elite model (no HSR adjustment) is the same though.

Cascade teasing a custom DHX2 shock eyelet...possibly a sort of geometry adjustment/MX conversion for bikes without a dedicated flip chip?

Looks like a Kellys, and I'm honestly digging it

Issuing a correction on the leverage curve - the seatstay directly drives the shock, not a yoke. This should be more accurate: (now it looks more similar to the recent vertical DW-link designs from Pivot)

Okay - just did a rough sketch of the Polygon and Primoz was definitely right about the anti-squat figures. How steeply they "drop off" seems to depend mostly on the length and orientation of the counter-clockwise lower link (the one that's more vertical),

Polygon calls it a six-bar design, which is technically true from the point of the shock but not from the wheel. As Primoz said, it's a four-bar with an additional linkage to drive the shock (the two lower links alone control the wheel path and the shock ... more »

The specs on that page match the current SD Ultimate, so they may have just had the new shock lying around in the right size. Spec mixups happen all the time for this sort of thing, although in fairness I haven't seen it happen with unreleased products ... more »

Looks (and sounds) like a...Stanton?

Well whatever he's doing sure seems to be working

This is from an Enduro Mag article- it's pretty unscientific (could be damping setup or mostly psychological, who knows) but people on both ends of the weight spectrum especially seem to be able to notice positive and negative differences.

The stock Dreadnought's leverage rate is already below 2.0 and falling rapidly at the end of the 154mm travel (see picture), so in order to get an extra 25mm of travel out of it there's definitely a custom link, otherwise the shock stroke would need

Sketched out a pretty rough approximation of the Intense prototype if anyone was wondering what the general shape of the LR curve probably looks like: (I went with what I thought would be pretty accurate geometry for a size M, but now that I'm looking

Not sure how news-worthy this is, but the Mojo HD5 is listed under Ibis' past models on their website. Did I miss some news, or is there a replacement coming soon?

What's the Trek in the background? Link looks like a Slash, but the top tube/seat tube junction seems different from the current Slash and Remedy. I'm probably overthinking this, but there is a pretty decent hole in Trek's lineup between the 160mm Slash ... more »
