Don't be a dick. This is a good thing, a rider can race every discipline on a short travel 29er now.

That was so awesome! The 17 Questions with Cam was also one of my all-time favorites: https://www.vitalmtb.com/videos/features/17-Questions-Cameron-McCaul,4584/sspomer,2

I spoke with some at Santa Cruz about this, and yes, it definitely voids your warranty. I guess you could swap it back out, but I would imagine they would become suspicious if they don't see frame damage in that spot...more

So good. Kyle is such a rad dude. Remember talkin to him while we were racing at Sun Valley a few years back, great guy.

Enjoyed hearing his story and perspective. Mad respect.

Oh man this was good. The big bear and norba days were such a rad time to be around and witness the sport evolving. So stoked to have been there to witness these times and meet such awesome people. Strong work on this interview guys... Really enjoyed it.

Oh yeah– "Fast-rolling DH tire for hardpack trails" says Maxxis. Thanks! Never seen one myself either.

Any idea what tire Richie is running in the rear? Doesn't seem like Tomahawk or Aggressor... has some interesting diagonal ramp knobs.

We may be looking at a proto or next year's swingarm here, the hanger and axle hardware is way different than the 2015, and the chainstays might be slightly different...hard to tell with the added protective pieces.

I dusted off a '95 rockhopper equipped with a rockshox fork, canit brakes, 110mm stem and 540mm bars with barends and I can tell you it was scary...I dont know if it was the 20year old panracer smokes or the fact that you might as well have been lying down on your stomach...more

Fair point Soigneur, I went looking for where I read that and couldn't find it. And maybe pointing to a slack angle as a cause was unfair, the only sorta-negative I saw on the Nomad is that it may require some extra low-speed compression to pedal well. Undoubtedly it's a great bike.
