Roost Dominator Ti

Is it just me or is this the first time ever that an NX drivetrain is paired with eeWings cranks? One beauty of a bike for sure.

Is it bad to ask a girl her (frame) weight?

This is true, but I would change one word. For me, it is “Wonderful setup, absolutely no modulation.” I got used to it fast, and I’m not saying it is right, but it is what I prefer.

I didn't want it to end this way, but this is the way it happened. I'm picky about my brakes, and I've been searching for a good setup for a while. I liked the Codes just fine, but there is a lot of lever throw for my preference. I've been able to shorten

Super cool to hear about his evolution of suspension setup too, and how the slower is better mantra of some big line stuff isn't always the best for tracking or control. Curious how many of the guys have different opinions, like Ethan Nell's setup that just came out, where he says stiff and slow.

Interesting. I've also been riding a mullet full time for over a half year, and definitely appreciate being able to move around the rear end more at 5'8". I can make a full 29 work, it just requires more work and precise movements. Mullet lets me get a little sloppy on steeps, jumps, or little...more

You guys need to get some taller testers :-) Short head tubes/low stack height are the bane of my life - the banshee sounds perfect for 6' and over riders who would otherwise be battling with too low bar height...

Unfortunate end to a tremendous competitive career. I'm sure she'll be just as successful in her next adventures.

More like paying two very small men to sit on your fork and shock, constantly turning your lockout switches for you.

From my experience on a few different mullet bikes, the mullet stuff does handle smaller. It is an odd thing though, I feel perfect setup has a lot to do with tires. on a same sized wheel bike, typically 27.5 or 29", I'd run a 2.4 or 2.5 front, and 2.3 or something on the rear. I want a little more front grip than rear, as I don't want to end up on my face. The mullet bikes seem very different for what is best for me though. I definitely want the same sized tires front or rear. I currently ride the new Patrol mullet, and I had 2.5 front 2.3 rear tire, and it felt so stable in the front, and the back end cut out. I switched to 2.3 tires front and rear and it is balanced and the front has ever so slightly more grip than the rear, just how I like it. With more wheel, more rubber and more stability through rotation than the rear, I think setup is important, don't overdo it on the front.

For me, I think the mullet is the way to go. I like the traction and predictability of a 29 up front, and I have no issue moving it around. At 5'8", I also like/need the room to move around the back wheel that the 27.5 affords. I think this might be an opinion that most people under 5'10 or 6' could agree with, anyone who is tall might not need the extra room. Unless you have Brad's short ass legs. Then it is back to mullet.

"Acoustic Bikes"? Hard nope there. Can we all just agree that the nomenclature for a normal fully mechanical non-motor assisted bike is a bike and a e-bike is an e-bike.

Yup he did! See if he can go back to back wins but Loris is going to make it tough as he goes for 3 in a row at Maribor. Race day is going to be bananas

Or if you are the defending world champ, then your spot doesn’t count. The Brits can have 8 and Italians can have 8 on the men’s teams this year via defending champ and host country.

There's a few different ways to look at this, and given Gwin's response to not being named, it seems like this was just an oversight on his part. USAC is following their own rules, which is a good thing, and they are being consistent and clear. Also ... more »
