Either Zipp is testing a new wheel on the back of Nico's bike or the original one had to be swapped out as it might not have survived.

It is a common occurrence for people to ask me "What bike should I bring?" and the response is "DH bike. Don't even consider your trail bike if you have a DH bike." I'm so happy riding there and having challenging terrain.

I've been on the Roval carbon wheels for about a year now on a Patrol and then swapped them to a Scout, and I've had no issues. I ditched the ENVE wheels as they felt a bit dead, and the Roval stuff felt way more alive, and snappier. Looking forward to trying the even lighter stuff.

Responsibilities include hanging out with Spomer. A lot.
It would be great if Liv actually gave a price in this press release that tempted more riders to get into the sport, instead of being cryptic about their $500 to $1100 price points.

I'm gonna take an absolutely WILD guess and say that it's an instant engagement hub...just like their BMX hub that shares the same name https://www.boxcomponents.com/Box-One-Stealth-Expert-Rear-110x10mm
A lot of shuttles and bikes parks have traverses. So it isn't granny gear climbing, but you do need to pedal. The dropper lets you pedal comfortably, and the purpose of this bike isn't racing up any hills. The DH cassette is something like a half a pound lighter as well, way better for suspension performance at the rear wheel. I'm sure the derailleur is lighter as well, and very compact, quieter. It is a focus on descending, and the smaller cassette and derailleur are 100% worth it for a better ride down.

Disagree on all points. 38's still creak, and nothing compares to the stiffness of a dual crown fork for big holes, steep terrain, and heavy braking. If you're in a bike park there's no need for 12 speeds, and the longer chain and derailleur cage are much more likely to make...more
I've used some of these for a few years on my DH bike, so I don't feel the price is that out of line. $150 for the CushCore setup that has lasted through many, many sets of DH tires. I feel the 'suspension' on my bike feels better for it, and they aren't thrown away like used tires, so the price of admission seems to get better and better to me.

It would be sick if you could program in what side you were undoing (drive or non) so it could tell you which way to turn the fucking thing. Such an uneasy feeling undoing tight pedals, no matter how many times i do it...
This is far and away the best test/video I've ever seen with back to back slow motion of the new stuff vs competition. There is no way I'd buy this stuff (at least this version) with what I've seen in regards to chain retention, and that's some cool info to know.

This plus the Supercross announcement has me stoked. Great to have some events to look forward to!
That whole thing looked like a lot of fun. Nice work.

Only thing louder than those TLD kits were those Giants...
I also think that Matti Lehikoinen or however you spell his name qualified poorly when he won the race in Champery when Sam Hill got his epic run for 3rd place. So I would say the best spot with a poor qualifier, as Mark Beamont's, is 1st.

Hands down one of the more underrated resorts out west. No lines and amazing trails.
