That friend's bike story would be a pre-planned alibi for use in case she got caught . So .... how efficient is a motor small enough to fit inside a BB anyway?? I might get one for my XC bike if it is a significant boost, but I suspect she probably got ... more »

I hope you all read this because it's something of a "fact". I write insurance, some pretty crazy policies too sometimes, and one thing to understand is that THERE IS NO INSURANCE POLICY FOR THIS TYPE OF EVENT!!! Sure, you race a USAC bike race, you get...more

Anyone know what the line building etiquette is this year? Since it is at the same site, I have to assume most are going to reclaim their lines from last year., and do the same runs? How big is the site? 200 acres?

My question is: with 42 different riders, how many lfresh built lines are gonna be built? Is it the same zone as last year with the same lines reclaimed by the same builders? I know last year , people spent a week building trails and end up crashing and not qualifying. Is someone gonna poach Wil Whites line again?

There is not really a black and white answer to this, really, since every situation is different. It is a consequence of people having different skill levels and intentions for what they want to do on "no man's land". I've built jumps as optional lines ... more »
