Looks like most of the big names are running the mullet, except the Santa Cruz boys and Amoury, there aren’t that many more on the full 29? I suppose most privateers and smaller teams running the older Supreme. In contrast I think there will also be ... more »

Guess we’ll know if they release a new Totem in a week’s time 😂

No word on GX AXS yet? I mean you can buy a smart light bulb that you can connect to wirelessly with an app on your phone to control it for like 15$ I feel like sram is gonna hold out on us for awhile to try recover their development cost by keeping ... more »

While my OCD completely agrees with you, technically because of the dual crown, the Boxxer could should be stiffer with it's 35" stanchions, and I guess they need to find that happy medium between between too stiff and too compliant... but I would like ... more »

Agreed, they definitely need a better filter system, especially as they keep adding new tread patterns, it gets a bit overwhelming.

Yeah it would be surprising to see the introduction of a 38 single crown without them doing the same to the boxxer, although they did do that in the past with the Totem so who knows!? The Ohlins DH fork is 38 already if I'm not mistaken?

Doesn’t DVO do a similar thing with their Topaz, with a bladder in the piggyback that is countered by an adjustable Amount pressure around it, thereby changing the progression curve to allow the shock to work with both linear or progressive frame kinematics? ... more »

Push does have the hydraulic damper, but only on their latest 2020 shock release. I think their coil fork mod has one too or at least something similar...

Thanks for explaining that, much appreciated! I've heard mixed responses regarding the performance of the EXT hydraulic bottom out, but it definitely does make a lot of sense for coil shocks and forks too. I'm surprised that few of the new coil fork ... more »

I get what you are saying in terms of the third serial chamber reducing the progression in a way, although I just look at it as a more tuneable version of tokens, but at the same time, is not adding progression a form of bottom out control? In what way ... more »

The Formula DH fork is the only one that uses 3 completely separated air chambers all with their own valve, most of the others use interconnected chambers that adjust and/or equalize between them. Using the Runt in say a cane creek helm fork (not sure ... more »

Formula and Ohlins are already using the triple air chamber concept, and the Runt and MRP ramp control are essentially that as well although all have variations in execution and concept. Regarding using full travel, in my opinion, you only want to be ... more »

Super mullet 26” rear wheel too!

Hey SRAM, where’s my wireless shock remote switch that can affect both front and rear suspension and allows both trail and climb settings? And then connect it wirelessly to my neural network so I can think to change gears/dropper & suspension settings... ... more »

I was just pulling your chain mate 😂 But I think Lee might have hit the nail on the head here, while the extra stiffness etc. may be beneficial to the likes of Richie Rude, I think the real reason behind the extra 2mm may be more for the rigors of the ... more »

Unless as you state, it’s in the marketing potential, in which case it’s just 2mm.

From her ig recovery posts it looks to me like she will be back, and even if she doesn’t dominate like she previously has, she still has a good couple of seasons in which she could potentially Still win the overall. There’s more competition now, which ... more »

As much as everyone would like to see Nina win, she’s up against a stacked field and so far she’s shown podium potential but I don’t think she’s ready for the win yet. Give her a consistent year and she’s top 5 for sure though. Luca’s mind was out of ... more »

It’s literally just the same design as the DH bike in an enduro version.
