Maybe there’s something more to that itrack patent… or maybe it’s just bad luck. Kerr on the DW pivot so can’t really say it’s a HP thing although I could see how the rearward path might expose the bb more. Probably the guys softening their suspension ... more »

Looks like a trail version of the new supreme linkage platform to me

Imagine this stem coupled with a set of Fasst flexx bars

I could see beneficial uses for the stem in a gravel bike or touring application and maybe at a stretch even marathon racing on MTB where reducing very high frequency small vibrations might add up.

Maybe he wants to run full 29er for Fort Bill 🤷🏻‍♂️

Air shocks don’t need HBO because they naturally have more progression than coil shocks, and you can add tokens.

I agree, while this might be a performance top end feature that might cause the big two to up their game at the sharp end, this isn’t technology that should trickle down imo. Most people don’t even know how to set up a single chamber shock, let alone ... more »

Agreed, but at this point sensors are only responsive and not predictive so they can't anticipate things ahead that I may want to stiffen or soften the suspension for... not everything can be catered for by "if" statements.

That would be sick! Although I'm surprised they haven't yet released a manual wireless pedal platform/lockout for their suspensions considering flight attendant is already out there...

Would seem silly to ride Shimano and not get the benefits of changing under load with the new chain and cassette. I mean they ran the new XTR brakes and stuff so it seems logical they would use parts of the new drivetrain…. Although I suspect the new ... more »

Maybe Intense want to be seen as something different to SC and keeping the VPP keeps them in SC's shadow? Although if that's the case, making a HP, session copy is kinda like just stepping from one shadow to another...

I'm guessing the long front part of that rocker link is to reduce the leverage ratio and allow the use of a longer stroke shock for more control over the damping? That upper shock eyelet will see a lot of pivot rotation though...

Some are already ahead of the curve with regards to the lower guide... https://p.vitalmtb.com/photos/users/44569/photos/149607/s1600_Neko_Mulally_s_custom_rig.jpg

If you’re pinching the sidewalls with the rim, CushCore will definitely help, or alternatively heavier casings and more pressure. The unfortunate fact is that if you aren’t willing to fix your riding/line choice, the only solutions are heavier more robust ... more »

I am 220lbs and ride relatively aggressively (IMO). I went through the same issue as you, could not keep my tires inflated no matter what tire/rim combo I tried. 30psi in the back was the necessary solution for me. Find the pressure where you don’t flat ... more »

The irony is, if you know what you are doing, you can make a Dual Link/VPP design do whatever you want it to do, so the fact that INTENSE has abandoned their VPP design ethos to achieve what gwin is looking for... you can draw your own conclusions. In ... more »

Good point... I guess it has just been a design decision then?

That's the gravel fork that has been spotted a few times. I wonder if the reverse arch was patented and expired, and if it's something the whole Fox line will follow suite with now?

I'm curious to know why the huge hole in the downtube, as the shock mount doesn't seem to require it, but maybe they are running the shock upside down so the hole provides space for the piggyback to clear the downtube and allow for adjustments?

Dude Lance Armstrong admits doing steroids from the age of 21 and that was minor compared to the stuff he took later… Jared got suspended on a technicality, not hard doping, it’s a little bit different…
