I'd like to chime in with my experience. I got one on loan to demo on my own bike since I'm local to them in Utah. No doubt it takes a few rides to get used to the fork! I had to adjust to riding more forward on the bike which is a part of what makes the fork work well. It wasn't until a very long day of muddy wet and cold rock riding that I had the breakthrough moment that I hadn't dabbed in hours of riding while buddies were slipping around.

After I removed the fork and went back to my Lyric 170 that I noticed how soft and un supportive my old fork was. I had spent a year of dialing in my compression and tokens and now it just wasn't the same. Of course, I tried firmer settings but then I lost the tracking I needed.

I eventually had to have one on my bike. -I did get a hookup- I'll admit that.

I'm a tiny human at 125lbs and wondered if this fork would be even better for bigger riders that struggle with fork flex. I usually like pretty light damping too. I've been diligent about leaving the damping at the recommended settings.

I took it to Virgin during Rampage and rode all the scary lines I've always ridden and just loved the action on Flying Monkey, and the steep drop filled lines of Old Rampage.

I'm an old school rider that jumps wheel high too often and hangs off the back too much. I've had to focus on landing nose heavy more often to avoid the harshness of slapping the front wheel down. It's been good for my technique! It's so awesome to just point the front wheel right into trail garbage and centerpunch landings.

I understand that there are drawbacks but I feel the upsides are greater and I'm surprised that more people aren't saying how mind blowing it is through the rough hacked up trails. I hear people praising it for this but to me it's a real standout quality. The cornering is indeed amazing. The dynamic offset keeps the front wheel slightly further ahead of you during deep compressions which keeps the steering slowed down a bit and helps stability. I think that bikes don't need to be so slack with a Trust fork. We've gone crazy slack to keep the front wheel way out there but we just have had no choice. If the head angle was a little bit steeper the harsh slap down effect would be reduced. The fork stays up in it's travel so well that the front wheel almost seems too far out- too slack.

The price, well it's $256 more than a Fox 40 factory. Seems fair for a full carbon chassis, bearings, recirculating thru shaft damper, etc.

"Untrained eye"? Huh? Not to be that guy but I've been around this sport for over two decades. Good riding doesn't need to be explained. Show any bike rider any WC pro or a top tier freeride dude on just about any trail and nobody will question its "badassedness"

I'm not saying KC totally sucks, but you literally could take any good regional pro racer and they'd make this look better.

I usually don't care, but the fact is Canyon could be supporting one (or more) regional pros, devo riders, etc. instead of KC "Look At Me" Deane makes me cringe. Men and women who have really put the time in, but would prefer to hone their bike riding ability, not their commercial "shopability".

The dude has never put time in between the tape and is nowhere near the level of other "influencers" who are fun to watch (like Canyon's other rider Braydon - who is savage).

I'd rather just see support go back to people who are clearly better at the sport as opposed those who just want to get something from the sport. Simple as that. Every KC edit is like this. It looks more like a commercial for the place he's riding than anything to do with rad riding on rad bikes.

Just like, my opinion, man.

He didn't! Cody races the EWS and was at the most recent round in Madeira. He sat down in a video with Jeff Kendall-Weed that went live last week and talked about how he stopped BMX racing a handful of years ago because he kept getting injured though.

Concerning the rule quoted above, He did not arrive 3 minutes before his start time and he was allowed to start because his start did not interfere with the riders starting on schedule. The finish official was upset for some reason other than a rule violation. The man appears to be insane. Your comments are rude and useless.

This is the same guy that threatened to pull my license in Angelfire because I (along with all the other junior pros) didn't know that a $250 UCI license was required to race Pro GRT's. If they would've told me in advance or enforced it in the first race of the series I'd understand but yelling at me for your mistake, not ok. Then at nationals threatened to DQ me during Dual Slalom practice when I was trying to set my front tire in the right spot on the gate. Then threatened to DQ and fine me during Enduro for playing music on my phone (not through headphones or earbuds just out loud) because apparently it endangers other riders, myself and him. And finally this is the same official that gave the fines for peeing and then lied to the other officials about the fine telling them the pro riders just whipped it out and started peeing in line. USAC as a whole isn't bad, but this ONE guy is ruining it for everyone! Please USAC get rid of him! All of my other experiences with officials have almost always been positive and most of the officials are good people!

BIZUTCH I don't care how old my son is I will have his back or anyone elses back when they are screwed over. Sorry if you don't like the fact I'm a MOM and post on mtb sites. Last time I checked I have EVERY RIGHT to post here as you do! Trust me my son can wipe his own a** and fight his own battles. Yes, you are right racers should be at the start gate on time. After the lift up the mountain he cut it close. There is a reason why a grace period is granted ... shit happens but if a rider is there they are allowed to start. Well how do you make that start if the rest of your class are stacked up to the starting gate? Don't tell me he wasn't there to win! Everyone is allowed their own opinion and you have stated yours ....so now here is mine.... you SOUND LIKE AN IDIOT for being so butt hurt because a MOMMY posted HER opinion on what happened. You had one thing right... he is fast but far from an idiot trust me.

He was probably late because the line to the porta-potty he was in was longer than expected. You know, since you can't just piss in the woods without getting fined.
