Added reply in a thread Stripping...Paint Off A Frame 1/17/2019 9:12 AM

Anyone have any experience with media blasting? Seems like it would work pretty well with the right blast media. Im considering this as I have a local PC/blasting shop and I want to make my frame raw. I don't think acid dip is an option in my area.

It actually has 3 holes on the downtube for cage placement options. So you can slide it up/forward to make room for a piggyback shock.

Hey guy, Also broke the crap out of my face in a car accident. Im almost 10 years past my last surgery and my face has hardened up considerably, feel like I could get punched in the face and shrug it off lol. Takes a long time, but it'll get stronger/less ... more »

I got an XL transition patrol, coming from a L patrol it was easy to make comparisons as they are basically the same except one is over an inch longer. I thought i would end up going to a 32mm stem, but i tried it and ended up sticking with 50mm. The ... more »

I use appropriate sized crescent and a piece of flat steel to back the rim up from the outside, gather everything up in crescent wrench and start bending.

Added reply in a thread Cush Core technique. Why the complaints? 9/13/2018 12:00 PM

Two words: Double Down. I can change moto tires fast, and it's my opinion that the DD beads are pretty dang tight on certain rims. I think the cush core installation complaints have more to do with those tires than anything.

Thanks for the responses! I ended up running them and they were a big improvement. They replaced Avid Elixir R's

Does anyone run dual piston brakes on their DH bike? Got a set of hope x2s to replace the avids on my sx trail. Wanna know if they'll stop any harder than the avids or if I should just send them back.
