I wonder if they consider routing the cables through the upper headset bearing a hollistic solution? For me its shithousery and should be punished by being beaten with a pair of vintage z1 bombers.

Don't think I've ever seen a frame fail at a cable exit, plenty have failed elsewhere due to owners hamfistedness, shit ass engineering/product testing, shit ass manufacturing/qc.

Nukeproof/vitus have sent out plastic rings to protect the steerer as brake cables have been rubbing against it, should be a recall given it’s a safety related potential serious failure

The industry is charging more and more, whilst delivering less and less. Marketing teams are in overdrive to keep sales up and the money flowing in, I'd be intrigued what the warranty bill is as a result of reduced time to market on product development. ... more »

IMO sram quality is poor, the old 11 speed stuff was great, the 12 speed stuff is garbage. Soft cassettes, shot jockey wheel bearings, clutches that barely do 6 months. How are you killing the mechs?

Added reply in a thread MTB Tech Rumors and Innovation 3/12/2021 1:25 AM

Different way of clamping the rocker pivot, wonder if that's just for the prototype, or they see as there is a performance gain.

Eagle mechs that last more than 6 months, I can only wish 🤣

Simplifying their options makes a lot of sense, but thats too simple IMHO Its a wet condition tyre, I'd only offer it in maxxgrip, DH/DD/Exo+ casing in 29 & 27.5
