I would second the recommendation to cut a slot into the head and use a flat screw driver. You will of course have to but a new bolt

That depends upon the dirt composition you are using, some dirt wont stick when extremely wet, but once it dries out a bit it'll stick like crazy, other dirt can only be slightly wet . Keep your shovel extremely clean, and when you pack, perhaps try ... more »

You can always buy wider than 28 and cut em down later. Bend and sweep is definitely a personal preference thing. I am presently running the Vanderham PRO bars at 27.5 inches wide and love them. Easton and Deity also make some high quality bars and stems ... more »

Srpingrate varies greatly depending upon the bike itself, how much travel, the shock size, rider size, personal preference, leverage ratio, suspension design, and many others. Try a spring calculator
