I switched over for a few reasons but the biggest one (kinda personal) is that I’ve come to terms with needing to not hit as much high consequence stuff anymore after a couple bad TBIs in recent years. The Dreadnought is perfect for someone who mostly rides park, shuttles, big hits/steep high consequence tech. It climbs fine for “what it is” but it’s not a very enjoyable everyday bike for tamer local trails. The Prime is a super efficient and comfortable climber, and plenty capable enough for most of what I’m riding these days. It’s incredibly playful too. I still love shuttles and a handful of days at the park but it’s not the majority of my riding anymore. Now I just want something versatile and quick enough to ride further away from all the crowds.

It is pretty steep…between 76 and 77.2 degrees depending on where you have the flip chip. And thank you! I’m always a sucker for a raw frame. Luckily it rides even better than it looks!

Silly or not, let the market decide if this is worth $13K. Some dude just bought a $69M NFT, who are we to decide if something "makes sense" for the market?

I would argue that you should either try and make a tire, or stop whining. Just a thought.
$65-ish is the base price for a single tire. If you were to buy 6 tires at once (for yourself or a group of friends, or if you buy a set at an event, it'll be pretty close to $50 per tire.
Unfortunately, tires cost a lot to make, making good tires costs more & shipping adds to that...more
