Different disciplines for sure. However, Loris just won the Trans Cascadia in pro with Luca Shaw in third. They both beat last year's winner, Geoff Kabush who got 5th. He is no endurance slouch. DH isn't enduro, but the top level pros are in great condition.

In addition to saying he 'lost fitness' at the DH races and didn't like how little he got to ride, Martin also mentioned that he felt enduro racing made him a better bike rider. I can see how for some the semi-blind, fully-pinned nature of EWS racing might actually translate into a...more

Why 51mm offset?? Also, can we just call it boost 157 or something? I thought the industry wanted to get away from the tongue in cheek super boost name...

Doubtful. He’s on his old rampage bike, probably more comfortable to hit big jumps on than the newer bike and suspension. Fully destickered lowers also

Super risky race, guessing Gwin isn’t that interested honestly. I do miss his old segments absolutely sending it, 3 minute gaps...
Feel like this is a good fit for someone like Bingelli or Aiello though.

Do it overnight yes. It allows for larger volume behind the pistons and in theory the bubbles will float up. Pro trick, take your wheel out and clamp down on a dummy rotor, rubber band and leave over night. In the morning, while holding the lever closed and removing the rubber band, use the rotor to push the pistons back into place and allow that pressure to extend the brake lever against your finger. Helps push any bubbles up. Shimanos are usually done with the bleed cup on over night.

sorry but disagree. The seat angle does need to be updated, yes, but so does the pivot design. I had the main pivot constantly coming loose and the upper bolt is tightened directly onto the carbon. The carbon would compress and lead to play. This is a known problem that they have not...more

I doubt it. Mr. Dawson bases his opinion on the fact that he tried his own "sbg" project on a Nukeproof 29er with an angleset and reduced offset fork. Since it didn't work for him and he didn't care for it - Transition bikes are gimmicky. And I don't doubt that the Nukeproof didn't...more

Upvoted for truth. The seat tube angle is 10 years old. I have seen several guys running their seatposts backwards to get a decent riding posture.
