Bad weather in the UK has put a dampener on the start of the Dirt jump season this year but as long as we get a bit of sunshine over the next 3 weeks the Spank Industries Dirt Wars UK Dirt Jump series is going to be getting the season going with a couple of action packed events.

First off, Round 1 @ Wisley Trails, Surrey on Sunday 24th June. The event was postponed last weekend due to the severe weather conditions that hit the East of the country so hopefully the conditions at the jumps will have improved enough for the comp to go ahead. As well as the Open/AM & Elite/Pro category contests we also have the ' Best Whip Comp' & the 'Dirt Wars Best Trick Contest' for riders to show what they've got.

And three weeks away...

The UK has it's second FMB World Tour Bronze event for 2012 with Round 2 of the series at the Relentless Energy Drink NASS Festival. Held at the Bath & West Showground in Somerset, NASS is Europe's largest Extreme Sports & Music Festival and has been part of the festival circuit for over 10 years now. With World Cup Skateboarding, Ride UK BMX Dirt champs, crazy FMX demos & plenty more sports-wise there is also an amazing music line-up. With live music from Sum 41, Modestep, Pulled apart by horses, Lower than Atlantis, DJ Fresh Live, Chiddy Bang, Andy C, Doctor P & many many more.

This round will be even more hotly contested as not only are there cash & more great prizes from our sponsors on offer but riders will also be competing for points in the FMB World Tour to strengthen their positions in the series, so don't be surprised to see European riders coming across for the event.

So everyone is holding their fingers crossed for mother nature to be kind and give us some decent weather leading up to these events but things are shaping up for a very exciting start to the series.
