Added a new video Crankworx & World Cup Les Gets - Episode 2 - Propain Factory Racing 2021 7/6/2021 6:30 AM

Join the journey with Propain Factory Racing in the second episode of their 2021 video series. Crankworx is always a fun event and makes for an amazing time in the Austrian Alps doing all the different disciplines and enjoying time on the hardtails, slalom and DH bikes! Main focus has been on the downhill but we couldn't miss the opportunity to race dual slalom and pumptrack, as well as a perfect evening at whippoff! As it comes to downhill we had some ups and downs during the downhill race. George Brannigan was flying the whole week but couldn't make it on the final run due to a flat tire. Henry Kerr and Luke Meier-Smith finished 31st and 30th. Remy Meier-Smith had an amazing run and proved he can mix with the best junior riders in the World, finishing 2nd with only 3.289 to the winner. For the break before heading down to Les Gets riders split to different events.. Henry and Remy smashed out the IXS Downhill Cup at Brandental which turned out really well. Henry grabbing 5th spot in elite with just 0.338 off the win and Remy won the Junior U21 category! Same week Luke Meier-Smith grabs 2 times second place in U21 category at EWS at Canazai. Losing less than a second to the winner with 30min of racing! Les Gets provided a fresh and fast track for the second round of 2021 World Cup. Unfortunately Remy Meier-Smith and Henry Kerr didn’t qualify for the finals after their qualifying runs didn’t go to plan. Luke and George went into the finals with positive thinking for Saturday. They both improved their runs and we’re stoked for the results despite bad weather. George finished a very respectable 8th place and Luke Meier-Smith grabbed 19th place in his first ever World Cup elite final. Onto a little break and we're even more excited for further races this season! Added a new video Schladming & Leogang - Episode 1 - Propain Factory Racing 2021 6/15/2021 10:29 AM

Join the journey with Propain Factory Racing in the first episode of their 2021 video series. At the beginning of June the team headed up to Schladming for the last testing of the new Propain Downhill Bike. One week of riding the legendary downhill track brought us some excitement before heading up to Leogang for the First World Cup in 2021. World Cup Round 1 - Leogang. The weather has made conditions tricky this year as well, it was a lottery during qualifying runs due to the intermittent weather giving some guys a dryer track than others! All of our guys crashed in their runs, but only George made the cut to finals. Big lesson for our first year junior rider Remy Meier-Smith and first year elite rider Luke Meier-Smith. We are sure the experience collected here will pay off in the future. George finished 36th in Finals with a crash. Looking forward for some good times at Crankworx and preparing for another round of World Cup racing in couple of weeks at Les Gets. Added a new video Geörge Brannigan's Motörhead Queenstöwn Shredit - Fast and Loose 5/28/2021 1:49 AM

After 5 years George Brannigan comes back with another shredit from Queenstown. Before flying to Europe for World Cup racing he came up with an idea to do another banger! Not much to say! You just have to watch it! Pure shredding, big gaps, fast corners and Motörhead music, can it be any better? “I have been wanting to do a Queenstown Motörhead shredit 2.0 for over 5 years now since the first one I done. I knew it had to be as good or better than the previous one so I scared the s*#t out fo myself a number of times during filming. There were some big sketchy gaps I had to pioneer but it was totally worth it! I hope you all get frothed watching it too!” - George Brannigan George has been riding the Propain Rage Prototype Downhill bike for whole offseason now and is more than ready for racing! I’m feeling really good on the new “Propain Rage Dh, the poor thing took a hiding during filming but I’m more ready than ever coming into the season on that bike. I can’t wait!” - George Brannigan Supported by www.propain-bikes.com www.sixpack-racing.com www.rs-farbroller.de www.schwalbetires.com www.newmen-components.de/en/ www.sram.com/en/rockshox www.leatt.com www.motorex.com/en-us/bike-line/ www.crosscamp.com/de

First round of Lousa World Cup has been wild for us! Lot of ups and downs for our team riders. George Brannigan had to pull out of the race due to his hand injury. Luke Williamson made it to the finals, but ended up crashing in the finish area. Fingers crossed for the second round!

Added a new video Propain Factory Racing's Gritty Battle at Maribor Round Two 10/19/2020 12:31 AM

They say things come in threes. Well if George Brannigan and Luke Meier-Smith putting themselves out of contention with hand injuries wasn't enough, Luke Williamson followed the trend and ended up with a poorly paw as well. Just before qualis he had a little set down, jarring his wrist, making it uncomfortable to ride for Saturday's race. Not like George and Luke M-S fortunately Luke's injury wasn't serious enough to prevent him from giving it a go on Sunday. With a strapped up wrist and a handful of painkillers down the neck, Luke set off on his race run. Unfortunately, early on he had a crash and was losing air from his tire further down the track. Even though Luke pulled out some impressive speed, showing strong lower splits, there was just too much time lost from the crash and 13th was all she wrote. Not the result Luke was looking for but it definitely was not for the lack of trying. Onwards to Portugal!

Added a new video World Cup Maribor Round1 - Propain Factory Racing 2020 10/16/2020 10:21 AM

Lets just say the only reason you needed a mask again this week was for fear of catching Covid19, unfortunately it was not to prevent breathing dust into the lunges. So World Cup round 1 of 2 in Maribor, Slovenia is finally done and dusted! (or should I say 'done and slopped'). Although the weather wasn't much better than last week's World Champs at least the result from Luke Williamson was. Just 0.3 sec off a top 3. Unfortunately he will have to wait until Maribor round 2 this Sunday to try and land the podium finish his mind has been set on as today he had to settle for a 5th. "A little too sketchy today. A few mistakes cost me a good result today but we go racing again tomorrow and Sunday so no time to dwell on what’s happpened." - Luke Williamson Unfortunately it's all down to Luke Williamson this week as our boys from down under haven't got a working set of hands between them with George Brannigan dislocating a finger during practice last week and Luke Meier-Smith breaking his finger before yesterday's qualifying. Enjoy a quick recap video from our man Kuba and below are a few words from Luke Williamson and Luke Meier-Smith.. Added a new video George Brannigan shreds Verbier 9/21/2020 5:18 AM

One of Brannigan’s favourite bike parks, Verbier, is perfect to complement his riding style. Gaps, flat out trails, berms to rip, it doesn’t get much better. Along with feeling super comfortable on his Propain Rage bike and epic trails you can’t not enjoy watching some quality shredding "To be honest it was a strange time before doing some races and being back home in winter feeling so far removed from everything. When it feels like races aren’t going to happen then the motivation isn’t there. But now there’s some smaller races happening before worlds, I done an invitational one over the weekend actually with a bunch of top World Cup guys there and just had so much fun so it’s really fired me up for the few races this year if they happen." - George Brannigan "To be honest it was a strange time before doing some races and being back home in winter feeling so far removed from everything. Everyone comments on how cool it looks. I’m stoked to have the privilege of riding something so sick!" - George Brannigan "I love Verbier, to be honest it’s easily in my top 3 favourite places to ride. When you ride this place after a little rain and the dirt is all tacky you can’t beat it!" - George Brannigan Team supported by: Propain Bikes SIXPACK Racing RS Farbroller Vee Tire Co Stans No Tubes RockShox/SRAM Leatt Motorex CROSSCAMP

Added a new video Team Camp with Propain Factory Racing in Lousa 2/17/2020 11:37 PM

The Propain Factory Racing jumps into 2020 season with the first Training Camp in Lousa. It's time for the mechanics to unbox brand new race bikes and first time for riders to get the suspension dialed in and find the best setup of the bikes. Team Management is excited to be united at the beginning of the season with two new additions to the team: New Zealand’s George Brannigan and Australia’s Luke Meier-Smith, who join Henry Kerr and Luke Williamson. Have a look at Team Training Camp in the first episode of the 2020 team video series. Both Luke Williamson and Luke Meier-Smith are back for second year Junior, as Henry and George are ready to race in Men Elite field. Luke Meier - Smith - the talented Australian scored the podiums last year and look forward to be back in there this season - "I am super excited for the season ahead! Team camp went really well with the bike feeling super dialled and ready for World Cup round one in Portugal! I am so grateful for the opportunity to be part of Propain Factory Racing this year as a second year junior, with their support and knowledge it’s going to be an awesome season!" Luke Williamson - „Testing went pretty rough for me, felt ill for the most part and had a lot stupid crashes so it was difficult to get consistent runs in on the clock. On the flip side we managed to make some changes that have hopefully got the bike a bit better dialled in before the first race of the season. Before Lousã I’ll be racing the Portugal Cup in Tarouca which I’m pretty excited about. Should be nice to get a race in and see where I’m at prior to the first World Cup.” George Brannigan - “The Propain team camp was awesome, I haven’t actually ever done a camp like this where we got so much testing done to dial in the bikes. Everyone on the team is cool too and so enthusiastic being all young which is really refreshing. I’m stoked how things are shaping up for the season ahead!” Henry Kerr - „The team camp was a great opportunity to push my limits against the clock and test some new products some team sponsors have brought out. We all get along well in the team and I feel I have come so far from where I was this time last year so I hope the results will agree in a months time.” Ben Reid - “Big shout out to all our sponsors for getting the new product out to us at such an early stage. Without those guys pulling together it wouldn't have been possible for us to get out here with time to spare before the season kicks off. With being on the same bike for a few seasons already and not many changes to our spec it really allowed us to work on the fine details and was a great chance for the full team to meet up and get to hang out while we had some exciting new products to test from our sponsors. We received a new Tyre from Vee just days before we set off that I'd been working on with them in the off season, some tuned Rock Shox dampers and rear shocks from Markus Klausmann as well as the usual crown offset options and playing around with reach and rear axle positions etc. With one adjustment affecting the other as you can imagine there are many options to setting up the bikes and getting each individual rider feeling comfortable. Our first day on the hill was just a mess about and right away everyone felt pretty happy with their set ups but once we started timing the next day it was great to see the guys were open to trying stuff they wouldn't normally or didn't think would be faster and by the end of 4 straight days pushing hard against the clock I feel happy that everyone came away more committed to a set up they know will get them down the hill faster. Truly stoked with the team this year, guys are all really fun to work with and committed to going fast.. What more can a manager ask for! BR” We’ll be back in Lousa in a month time, for the first World Cup of 2020. Let it roll! Make sure you subscribe the Youtube Channel and follow the team on their Instagram and facebook page. Join the team for the 2nd Round of the World Cup in "sunny" Scotland! A learning curve for the youngest members of the team. Henry and Luke well just short of the qualifying times with safe runs. That left Rudy and Joe to battle it out on Sunday for finals. Check out the action! Photo by Phunkt
