I was a track marshal on this exact section for the 2019 DH WC race and in qualifying, when it rained I had to witness many people crash, broken wrists, clavicles and so on. I’m glad they reworked it for this years Champs because it really sucked to ... more »

Closest thing I saw to it being used for Dh was on a yeti sb165 with a boxxer and coil shock. Can’t remember the guy’s name but he does YouTube. The rims are not intended or guaranteed for DH use but I suppose you’re not shredding down Val Di Sole at ... more »

Thinking more like 40+

My size medium commencal meta with ZEB/coil shock and similarly heavy wheels/tires/crap on it was 39.

Yes they’re definitely not 35mm anymore. To be expected imo. Can’t have your enduro fork be thicker than your Dh fork. Not for performance but for marketing🙃

I still wonder what happened with him and Santa Cruz or Greg. I doubt Greg would give up his long time mechanic just like that

Added reply in a thread PSIcle batteryless tire pressure sensor 6/5/2021 4:47 AM

I don’t want a valve extension that tells me tyre pressure. If you integrated it into the valve itself, like car pressure monitoring systems, so that u can’t see it from the outside then you’d have my support but what you’ve done here is just ugly looking ... more »

There is no right or wrong, typically for beginner riders the recommendation is to start off of sag as a baseline and then tune it a bit to suit your needs. Start with around 25-30% in the rear and 20-25% in the front and open the rebound until the wheels ... more »

Not to me it doesn’t, the front eyelet still mounts to the down tube so I’m not sure it will fit a water bottle😬 maybe they can fit their dumb proprietary bottles like the Jeffsy but let’s see.
