Not technically bike design related but the new Bell full face helmet Gwin is currently riding is probably near production/release. It is likely been released to media for testing as it is worn by M. Kazimer in the latest Grim Donut video from PB.

Looks like prototype calipers on Brosnan's bike from the latest pit bits video. They are painted red and have a cover attached to them. They look one piece and beefy too.

Looks like transition will do away with a proper DH race bike and moving the TR11 to the park/freeride category. They have never even made the switch to 29 wheels (let alone mullet), so that would not be surprising. I definitely see more brands transitioning ... more »

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJsM-jJQrqc&ab_channel=VitalMTB If you stop the video at the 5:16 mark you can see they did some grinding on Reece's bike near the idler. Harrisoon is using a different chainstay altogether as we have seen previously. ... more »

14 junior women is awesome. If I am not wrong there were just 3 or 4 riders last year they raced there (might need to look it up to be sure). It looks like the level of women racing in general is getting higher quickly, also with the contribution of ... more »

Dean Lucas is currently riding an alu frame, not sure if it is just because of shortages or if it is slightly different. Also, on the latest Making up the Number podcast Matt Walker confirmed they are on a revised front triangle with some minor geometry ... more »

Nice catch on the TFR new idler setup! Also, concerning the intense, the main pivot is quite high but that is not the only factor determining the axle path, given it is an horst frame. Also, how much mud can collect in that downtube😬?

The Honda will always have a special place in my heart but this new Supreme is sexy af, and probably the fastest bike out there. On a side note, the lack of coverage of this race from the media is sad. The entry list is mental. Check it out on the portuguese ... more »

The L size V10 has a reach of 460, the same as my M sender which firs me (175cm) perfectly. They mentioned he was on a shorter stem and maybe a reach adjuster set to a shorter position. Nothing surprising there.
