eh It's definitely business in the front and party in the back. I ended up running a 67.5er some years ago and I've been dying to do a 79.5er build as soon as I get off this hardtail kick I'm on. Anyway, in my not so humble opinion. This is not a trend. Options are good. And now that it's an option at the highest levels of racing, multi-wheeled bikes can finally get the benefit of development from the companies and racers.

trek's use of the term 12 years ago (for their 26/29 contraption) is why i'm still using it today. it's established. why start a new standard? mtbers hate new standards.

69er was taken by Trek in 2007. 79.5 would be the correct radio station. And that's a nice little story sspomer. You get a gold star for participation.
