KS-Lev Ci 175 update. Bought 11-7-2017
Never even bothered with the remote or string (cable) that came with it. Installed a newly released Wolftooth ReMote and SP-41 cable. Over 2.5 years and 2 bikes later it is still working like new. Same goes for the ReMote. I'm in Arizona and dont deal with freezing temps or mud more than a few times per year. But dust is constant and 110° + heat has not affected the post. I love it! And I am a bit of a weight weenie as long as it doesn't compromise reliability or durability. Yes its expensive, especially with the Wolftooth lever. But the post is easy to find for $400, and lever $75. And it's easy to sell the carbon KS remote and cable to get some $ back. Vital gave the 480 gram KS a "10" for weight, and then gave the 620 gram Bike Yoke a "9" Just my opinion, but no other post should score higher than 8 for weight.

This video is 100% correct. Pre-charge the line of the pump before it fully engages the valve of your suspension, and you will prove to yourself the PSI matches where you left it.

Mountain bikes are not too expensive. It's the sales model that is the problem. Using distributors who mark them up 50% makes the prices unreasonable. As shown with YT and others, they could be very affordable, but we are supporting 2 industries. The manufacturer and the distributor. The sooner MAP pricing goes away, the better. Unfortunately, manufacturer's already know we'll pay crazy prices. So even if the distributors go away, the prices will never go down unless more direct to consumer brands pop up.

Quick note on the pricing - those figures should actually be in CAD not USD. So for under $105USD ($133CAD) you actually do get the roll pin tool included smile

I honestly never rode it without. I'm gonna be getting an X2 in a couple weeks and plan to put stock hardware back on and I'll try it then.
