I don't know where the billboard is, but the mountain monogram is here.

Reply to do you flip your bike upside down to put on your front wheel? 6/4/2015 11:50 AM

True -- I've never run a seatpost lever over the bars -- but an innocent looking trail rock can easily takes care of a seatpost lever, even when it is mounted under the bars. Ask me how I know.

Once I started breaking dropper seatpost remotes flipping the bike, I stopped doing it. Then I realized that Maxle forks and 142 hubs are ridiculously easy to get an axle into with the bike upright and I questioned why I ever flipped the bike in the ... more »

Good point. He needed to rephrase it to this: "In short, for the absolute vast majority, your life will change forever (and for the better) after a dropper." His original statement, which was originally true, became untrue as soon you posted your disdain; ... more »

It looks like the Pike Service Manual is on the site as well and can be found here. It also contains an exploded view for both the RC and RC3 cartridges so you can see the differences. This should make it pretty clear that you will want to swap ... more »

If they mean exchanging the RC damper cartridge with an RC3 cartridge, that is a very easy swap. If you remove the fork, fixture it in a bikestand horizontally, and carefully remove the lower leg, you may not have to add any oil to the lowers before ... more »

There's something about the charger damper that keeps it from packing up at a pretty wide variety of speeds. You get extra credit points for being able to detect and articulate this. Most people are able to say that they feel something different when ... more »

At 4:15 in the video dhgnar posted, you can see a RED camera in the right side of the frame. Unless every Joey is wielding one of those these days, I'd say it's a safe bet Clay Porter made it to GKC FEST.

If you want to relive the challenge of running 9-speed one-by setup like the old days, you technically still have the option to do so, even with these modern 11-speed options. At the same time you are challenged on the climbs with that 38T and 45-11,

Or Jared Graves; he's a the all around master . Okay, maybe he's not a master at trials-based riding like Akrigg, but he's mastered every other discipline. He's probably the best "all around" rider in mountain biking currently.

Turn. More specifically, turn like Adam Brayton.

Negative. Finsterwald is on Trek. Walker is on a V10 for DH. I'm not sure what Luca is on or what Walker will choose for non-DH. Not only can this team choose whatever bikes they want, and it's the athletes' choice not the manager's, but they can choose ... more »
