Ok, really, great lineup to review here. Something for everyone. Having spent more days than I expected this summer riding bike parks on my trail bike, it really shows that they're not cut out for it. It's exhausting getting clobbered around DH trails at speed. Sure, the geo's more or less there, the...more

When it comes to suspension, there’s no replacement for displacement.

I have an Ikea cutting board I cut up with tin snips. They actually don't seem to sell mine any more. This one looks even better though. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/finfoerdela-flexible-chopping-board-dark-gray-dark-turquoise-30335898/ it comes in a 2 pack. Mine was about 3x thick, but I bet this will work great too.

It wasn't that long ago when a survey of EWS men and women riders seemed to almost all land at 760. Vital testers recently noted anything less than 770 was unridable. As AG noted about if your riding a lot of tight stuff go narrower, but the 770 seems like a good place to start for most people. While I'm sure tons have people just ran with the 800+mm bars there bike was spec'd with and had good success, it does seem like you're missing out on a little better fit by cutting them down a bit.

What cons do you see with the price, weight and 'fiddle factor'? And good news is mechanical lockout systems are still an option and will continue to be for a while. You'd probably love the elegance of Scott's new Spark cockpit setup, convenient lockouts for days!

I don't know how this isn't already a problem. Essentially half the engineering of all motorsports is to find a way around the rules, or a way that now one can tell if you did break rules. It's expected and the norm for a top team.

Don't discount the side-knob talk. DHF might be best on race day, but if you try to run them for a long while I think you'll see half those knobs are just flaps that look like knobs. If you can afford to just throw new tires at you rig every month then your probably fine with DHF, but in my short experience, the Butchers wore down instead just tearing. That being said I'm still running 26, so Butchers aren't really an option in a non-wire bead heavy casing, and I will be trying a DHF again.

Really good job with the synopsis; it captured the race flow and the surprise (obvious?) winner nicely.

I agree with all of this except the inside jokes. I love that their's
a back story that brought them together. The more you listen the more you'll find out who they are, and what they're about. In my experience that's what is so great about podcasts in general. The long form RAW talk is great. A polished podcast that is all segments cut together always feels less authentic.

However Amaury was happy to just make the scene. France is so deep with talent you know there's a dozen guys that could have filled his spot just fine. Although a half strength Pierron is still probably good for 50th. https://www.instagram.com/tv/CTACRscI8Vn/?utm_medium=copy_link ... more »

Tread pattern is so reminiscent of another popular flat shoe I've seen. They look pretty cool. Where's the review Anomaly? Maybe we could get a local ripper from anywhere (with some verifiable success) to give us 30 seconds of review and ride shots.
