Why dont all mtb shoes have lace covers?
Shimano are the best true mtb shoe, the rest are sunny day-stiff soled sneakers

Additional stiffnes comes to mind. Maybe they decided to build the rocker in two parts in order to reduce costs and use the axle clamps to add stiffness. The bike itself looks already very polished though.

I have to disagree. The new Tyee is a nice bike. Let's see how the Spindrift will look like. One thing's for sure: They have a winning business model.

I've ridden with Brandon a bunch over the years, and I can't imagine anyone more dedicated to helping others get the right info on bikes. I've seen him fall asleep at the computer typing at 2 AM getting thoughts down on bikes, nose smashed into the keyboard. I also believe he's got a massive caffeine addiction...more

Kind of fun to think about is the meeting where they decided to use the Bontrager name instead of the Trek name for their tool storage solution.

Italian houses aswell. San Romolo perhaps? Canyon, Madison Saracen, Santacruz and a lot of others are regularly there to get their DH testing going.
