RockShox Lyrik RC2DH up front and Vivid Air with medium tune out back. Works Components headset with 1.5-degree cup. Slacks the bike out really nicely. Truvativ Boobars cut to 30-inches and Avid X0 Trail brakes with 180mm and 160mm rotors.

I heat shrink-wrapped my cables to see how it would work. As you can see it works great!

So I was able to get my hands on a RockShox Reverb Stealth, but Nomads aren't prepped for the cable to run through the frame. I had a friend X-ray the frame to see if the cable would even be able to make it through the BB area. It could.

Burgtec Penthouse flats with Ti spindles. Flats are most fun for everyday riding, but when I race, I'll throw on clips.

Hello, first of all, sick bike!
I have a question, I see a short cage x0 derallieur and a 10 speed cassette with 36t as biggest sprocket. Don't you need a medium cage derallieur to handle the 10 speed cassette or works this also good? Best regards, Jeroen.

Mihai - Love this bike setup. A quick tire question for you. I just stuck a Spec Butcher SX up front and am liking it so far. I feel like my conti trail king 2.2 in the rear is a bit lacking now. What Spec tire would you recommend for the back? I live in Northern Utah and usually it's dry loose soil over hard. Thanks!

hahahha - it takes a special bread to get excited over Zip Ties. You should have seen the order I placed the day I realized McMastercarr had a mega wide selection. Thanks for that link - but it doesn't seem to work for me.

Bike looks super cleand & SWEET!! I'm in the process of building a 13 carbon stumpy EVO which is going to be black and blue kinda like yours but with more blue in it. I'll definitely be posting it up once I'm finished with it here in the next couple weeks... Great build you've done for sure!!

Thanks! I used to be able to clean Mt. Falcon with a similar build nomad, but I haven't been on that trail for a long time. I like riding other trails around here more than Mt. Falcon.
