And yes, many hate MaxxTerra but the rolling resistance differential is massive. I love DH tires but can't justify the lack of speed for 99% of my riding.

Definitely a bit shortsighted of Kona on your rims. Ghetto tubeless could be an option for you.

My shortys will be going on this weekend, can't wait to blast through the leaves that are already filling the trails. !

Last time I rode Shortys it was not even that wet nor was the dirt all that loose, and it still felt really nice. Pretty awesome tire all told.

We have them in our shop. We are also running them on several bikes currently.

Fair enough. On the downhill bike I just like the stability and rim protection of the DH casing. Maybe I'll try the DD with cushcore. EXOs have always been great for the trail bike. Thank you for the quick reply.

Can't wait loved the tire on my normal width rims and not knowing better got too fat of rims when I built a new bike (35mm inner). Perfect match for the DHF WT....

This is the setup I run most of the time and, I agree, it rips. I sometimes wonder what a 29x2.4WT Aggressor would be like, though. If you make it, I will buy it.

@dstucki is that a 29x2.5 Aggressor you were testing on the Switchblade?

They definitely need to make a wider Aggressor WT version say a 2.4 that is a 2.4.
