Why Kirt's edits are the best in the biz:

1. The way he see's the world while on a bike is so unique, every piece of content he ever unleashes upon the world reflects his originality and can never be duplicated.
2. Watching his edits make me want to try and duplicate everything he does because it looks obtainable and so much fun.
3. How smooth and effortless he makes things look, only to attempt them myself and get served a huge piece of humble pie.
4. He's always having more fun than anyone else, his attitude and outlook on the trail opens up so many possibilities. Not too many folks can make a simple blue flow trail ride how he does.
5. His edits are timeless and appeal to a massive mtb demographic

Thanks Kirt!

As someone who is sometimes lucky enough to get to go and shoot racing, there are few things I look forward to more than seeing Blenki appear in the viewfinder. If anybody can make shit look good, it's Blenki!

I live near Lenoir and thought the same thing when it comes to Bronson vs Nomad. Glad i chose the Bronson. Its a riot on black mountain, beehive, etc. Just the right amount of bike.

Ah the good old days before the internet. Now everyone can find people online who are also into having sex with other people in animal costumes (I once stayed in a hotel that was hosting a Fuzzy convention a few years ago).

But I digress. Once upon a time all we needed was one bike. I could race XC or DH on my Manitou hardtail and I wasn't some weirdo in a class of one. Then we started talking about the dream of having a quiver of bikes. That started XC vs DH when DH had 4" of beautiful rubber support suspension and no damping. Then suspension was fun so why not try it on a bike that could be ridden uphill? Cheese and crackers it worked! But riding hardtails was still fun and we wanted more suspension for riding down hills. Then we decided that we wanted the equivalent of a DH bike that could still be pedalled uphill, but not very fast and they were even more fun! But they weren't as fun if we weren't riding DH equivalent courses. So now we needed HT, XC, Trail, Enduro and DH bikes. But as N+1 will prove, there is no such thing as enough bikes so wheel sizes were added. First it was simple with 26. Then someone with a HT in lycra declared that 29 was the best size ever. Nobody believed them and we all just laughed. Then some other people tried them and they were not horrible. Still more people tried them and decided that they liked 26 better. After that some freak put an old triathlon wheel size on his mountain bike and went for a ride. Everyone said it was getting out of control and ignored the freak. A few other people decided that they wanted to be freaky and mounted up the same tri wheels on their 26 bikes and it did not sucked. People began to wonder how good they could be if there were actual biked designed for these new mid sized wheels. The 29 people were pissed because their revolution was disrupted. The 26 people were pissed because their cool wheels did not fit the new bikes. Then the new frames came out an most people rejoiced. Finally a new wheel size that made most people happy. Except for the freaks on 26 and 29.

Now that everyone was happy with their 29 HT, 29 XC, 275 Trail, 275 Enduro and 275 DH bikes N+1 was breaking down. Something had to be done so why not try adding in bigger tires? 275 was the most popular of all the sizes so make the tires bigger so they were almost as big as 29. Rejoice N+1 was restored! Some people tried them and they were weird in a moped kind of way. Fun to ride, but you never want to be seen on them. Now that people were having fun on them and a few people were buying them N+1 needed to be expanded. So why not try big tires on our old rusty 26 HT bikes and get even more diameter from our 29 bikes that were gathering dust. Rejoice fun was had even on our old bikes, but now we need new shiny bikes to accept our new tires.

The end????

He's going to college, AND working as an intern, after winning senior men's world champs? Shouldn't he be quitting school, buying fast cars, rolexes and a house in Laguna Beach, and doing modeling for some lifestyle brand? DOES NOT COMPUTE

This morning has been a whirlwind of emotions. Trying to fight back tears and sadness, while simultaneously laughing at some of the adventures and stories. Kelly was an amazing person and I'm fortunate enough to have known him for a number of years.

One of the Kelly memories that came up this morning was from 2011 at the US open. To make a story short, we were done for the day and heading back to the hotel. The area Raleigh rep's wife, was hanging out with us and told Kelly she had a big growler waiting for Kelly back at the hotel. The look of shock and confusion on the big guys face will never be forgotten. It took a few more minutes before we found out that the only definition of a growler that Kelly knew was a euphemism for lady parts!

Kelly, you were one of a kind and won't ever understand how many people you've inspired through your life. Cheers Bruh, I hope you're in a better place and the memories never be forgotten.

2016 Transition Patrol Carbon

Was on my '16 Transition Patrol

Used to do it as a matter of course when I bought frames from NukeProof, didn't think I'd need to worry about QC with Transition.
