Sick build. Did the wheels make a big difference? I'm trying to decide if I want to pony up the cash for wheels next. How do you like that fork?

Haha, I thought that was for rider weight...

Hahaha, hilarious on weight, such a newb.

Yup, it's the $1500 but got it on sale for $1400. I've actually been really selective in my upgrades, selling the stock parts, and finding good deals on eBay. Both the fork and brakes were take offs that never had been ridden but totalled less then $350 for both!

As far as the bike, I love it. The suspension linkage works awesome, so well I don't know if I'll need to upgrade the shock. It's very stiff and supportive while pedaling and super supple and grippy on downs and turns. The geometry is dialed and super confidence inspiring. I've railed so many turns and haven't come close to finding it's edge.

Only big downsides to me are some of the components (ones I've upgraded) and it has a very slack ST angle so it can be tough to get your weight forward for efficient climbing.

Id go for the hawk Hill 2 or 3 if you have the cash but I can't think of a better bike than the 1 for $1500.
