"The Boost thru-axle interface is clean, simple, and secure and will let bike-nerd parents have plenty options for custom wheelset if they want to double or triple the value of the bikes". I think it's a bit ambitious on the 20", but there are probably enough people out there for Specialized to just go ahead and do it. I wouldn't be surprised to see other companies follow in their footsteps.

I see your point, there are a lot of ripper kids. However, I wouldn't harsh on these bikes. $700 can be a lot for a family, and $1500 or something can be a mortgage payment if you have two little rippers. I don't see many downsides for these bikes as these prices....more

It would be great to see more companies returning to their countries. But it would be possible ONLY if people agree to higher prices and stop buying a new bike every 2 years.
