It came with a bolt on derailleur hanger, but my LBS couldn't get it to work, so they used a DMR one.

The Zircus is technically a dirt jump frame, but I've set it up for trail riding with a rear mech. It's also incredibly light and small in size, does exactly what I wanted for a kids build, using old 26" parts.

Another tip if it's on the cheap, I used an Octane One Zircus Frame, which can be got for £100 in the sale from CRC. My son was 10 when I built it, and it fit him fine. Put 140mm forks on it, but 130mm would be better.

FWIW I've built up similar for my 12 year old, and used Sram NX 155mm crankset.

Well, if you can't polish a turd you may as well sprinkle some glitter on it.

I've been mountain biking for quite awhile now (1988). I've owned many different bikes over the years, DH, Freeride, Enduro, trai, etc. I recently bought an Ebike and I will never go back to a mechanical/traditional mtb.
I've found climbing to actually be creative and FUN now!-having the ability to pop off of...more

Your article was enlightening. I have been struggling to understand the antipathy towards e-bikes and I think you've highlighted it - culture. There would appear to be a feeling that e-bikes don't fit an idealized notion of mountain bike culture and might bring people to the trails who aren't like “us" - who...more

Disagree with the stance of this article from an opinion basis, but there is also numerous incorrect pieces of info, I also do not appreciate Vital's choice of image for the lead (Racer guy hammering, and some dude bobbling on a roach emtb with no helmet, no proper attire, etc....that misleads the reader that...more

I’m in the don’t post the results in the headlines camp. I avoid Vital from race morning until I’ve gotten to watch the race, which could be days later, and visit PB instead. That way I can keep enjoying all the other bike related stuff but not have the race semi ruined for me.

Yes, because we as a society have agreed that reading the book is worth more than just finding out how it ends and tend not to spoil it for each other. Especially so for highly anticipated releases.

It was absolutely awesome watching the last DH World Cup round, the suspense, the twist...finding out...more

THIS ARTICLE SUCKS! J/K, but I do agree with "Peter" with the exception of the click bait stuff. This sport is different than most in the sense that most people who are fans, actually actively participate in the sport. I don't want to devote my day to watching an event inside. I'd rather actually go...more

Whether your opinion is right or wrong, there are a fair number of your readers who agree with Peter. We just don't act like dicks about it...
