No eyelets for fenders and pannier rack?!
Guess it's an April fools joke so I'll just have to build my own :-)

Wow, I really just had to stop listening. I’ve never heard so much raw opinion, covered up with “just my personal opinion here”! Seriously, does nobody get that the “sport” of mountain biking is also just something people do for fun? It’s not dumbing things down, it’s...more

Too short an edit for such an inspirational figure.

To clear this up a bit, we sent both Fox and Rockshox EDC Taps and Top caps for third party testing back in 2017. To our knowledge, neither were unable to cause a failure during their respective lab testing. RockShox makes no official statement that we are aware of but Fox's...more

That was awesome. Glad to see some combined footage from formation, I had only seen the a couple clips on social media so far. Hope this will be an annual thing from now on, and only grow bigger and more amazing each time.

I can't wait to see what they bring next year. We need Valli Holl out there.

These stupid Mo-peds (that's what they are) are hurting trail access for ALL mtb'er's.

Unless you're disabled or over 75 years old, get your fat ass in shape, learn to ride, and pedal, suffer, push to the top. If you're one of those, "they're so fun! you don't get...more

Well, it’s not a good representation of the bicycle buying public at large. For example, were you shocked that a large majority of Vital readers race Enduro?!

Your article was enlightening. I have been struggling to understand the antipathy towards e-bikes and I think you've highlighted it - culture. There would appear to be a feeling that e-bikes don't fit an idealized notion of mountain bike culture and might bring people to the trails who aren't like “us" - who...more

People that ride these bikes like to ride. I bet many people that ride ebikes could crush you on an acoustic antique bike. Variety is good. I own an ebike, gravel bike and acoustic hardtail.

You do realize this is an opinion piece, right? The author is listed. The author isn't VitalMTB as a whole.

It's great to see write ups like these for regional races.

I use the Sam Hills as my light riding pads and the triggers as my park/aggressive riding pads. The coverage is simillar but padding is notably more substantial on the triggers. In terms of comfort, the trigger stays put thanks to latex bands so you may experience the same issue as for the 7iDP but so far I have no complaints. The Triggers are definitely warmer than the 7iDPs, but not bad overall. (I'm riding on the East Coast, where summers aren't quite as warm as in Cali I presume?)

I've ridden and raced these pads for 3 months now, and love 'em. Comfortable enough for a full park day, or multi-stage enduro event. My only critique is that the webbed fabric will rip very easily if your pedal's pins touch it. I had a couple small holes ripped in after my first week of riding. If it gets worse I'll just sew in some additional fabric so it's not a deal braker, but given how sturdy the back fabric of my IXS Carve pads is, this seems like a step back.
