Been a while since the Boxxer saw a significant chassis update... but either way it certainly doesn’t look like anything stock. Machined crowns to test offset?

Noga or Bex maybe, but between those two that pic looks more like Noga?

Anyone else notice there’s a bike in that photo too? And it’s not a current one (probably her 2012 Milka-Trek hard tail, old Rockshox fork and CB pedals, no dropper, chainguide....)? She appears to be trolling you with an outake from the 2013 Cyclepassion

His trainer lives there and also runs the Norco DH team. Seems likely that he traveled without his bike and just borrowed one so he could go on the group ride.

Added reply in a thread Will 29ers Impact 2018 World Cup DH Results? 11/21/2017 12:52 PM

While the main Commencal Vallnord team of Thirion and Nicole went back to their 275 bikes, Amaury Pierron stuck with his 29er and ended up 2nd in Val Di Sole. I'd wager the success/failure rate of the 29er in 2017 was in part a reflection of how quickly ... more »

Added a comment about press release The 2018 U.S. Open of Mountain Biking Will Be Held at Killington, Vermont, Aug 1-5 10/11/2017 4:11 AM

Killington has stepped it up huge the last several years with their bike park and DH/enduro racing. The optimist in me really, really hopes this is their way of inching a bit closer to bidding on a World Cup.

Not usually one to show his hand in timed runs, but Sam still posted a 5th fastest 2nd split (3.6 sec back) and then appears to have cruised the last 30 seconds of the track that best suit his enduro bike. I'd say a shot at the podium isn't unrealistic ... more »

it came down to available dates next year. Everyone wanted to avoid a clash with CWX slopestyle and DH weekend. Im sure Aspen will be back at some point. It was sweet this year. Often giving some venues a break means even better racing on more new trails the next visit.

Looks like Luca Shaw was 3rd fastest at split 4, might have a long sit in the hotseat tomorrow. On paper it's now Pompon who's 5 points ahead of Tracey in the overall!

Added a comment about photo Wheel Balanacing at the Syndicate Pits 7/7/2017 7:00 AM

I vaguely remember the Syndicate doing this a few years back for the high speeds in South Africa, but don't recall seeing it done for other courses. Have to wonder if the bigger wheels have anything to do with it? Just pedaling the bike full speed on a work stand a 29er seems to bounce quite a more than a 275 wheel.

I've been riding a set of these wheels for about 3 months now and would definitely agree with Brandon's assessment. Relatively light, stiff enough for getting rad on a 29er, but not as harsh as some other carbon wheels. Multiple tubeless mountings have been a tool-free, compressor-free affair. Oh, and that lovely e13 freewheel sound.....

Sounds like offset bushing hardware in the shock as well. Ben and Brendan talk about it a bit here: https://www.redbull.com/int-en/mtb-world-cup-2017-leogang-timed-training-video
