Makes sense. I feel bad for people who aren't average size, half their life must consist of buying special items, or looking for special items.

MRP is a small company. The vast majority of bike riders are between 125-250lbs. For those outside this range, the air fork is still an option.

This was always one of the big problems with coil. A company can only justify making so many coils from a cost perspective (EG, there would...more

"125-250 lbs"......Dude who are bikes made for? Like there's plenty of ~100lbs women, and tons of guys over 250lbs. If you tell someone over 250lbs they need to lose weight, then say they can't ride a bike, it's like wow 0 incentive. You're really just cutting out grown men entirely, I'm 6' (average height) and am floating on the weight restriction. Should be 300lbs at least. Also I don't even understand the low end, nobody under 125lbs would even be likely to care, like if I were 110lbs I would not care, I don't even see the point of that restriction apart from losing business. If you're going to make a fork for yourself, make it for yourself, but don't try to sell it to other people.

Damn son, gonna weight my bike and get back to you right now. Probably 35lbs at least. But you can plus or minus 5 pounds from eating/drinking/not which is interesting. For what a bike is it's amazing how little they weigh. Yeah it weighs too much for our scale, I thought our scale went to 300lbs but it maximum 270lbs, I weigh 250lbs.

What do you expect? "As long as the top, and bottom aren't parallel, that's my pedal, we're going for the shuffle whenever the pedal changes sides, thank fuck someone's catering to our needs"

Trail bike......Yeah, idk looks like every Enduro bike, not like he's hurting for a bike or anything, as long as it doesn't break.

Reminds me of a comedy bit I heard on the radio, something like, "the new American pastime is watching people with jobs: "Wow he gets up in the morning, and does all that? Wow. And he even had a little break with lunch, and everything? Wow""

I remember there was 1 girl ever at the local MTB hill as a kid, and it was like OMFGWTFBBQ. Probably kind of like how army men feel. This is home segments are the best.

Good old fashioned wrong way oval with no chain tensioner, that's how you get things done! You're going to have mule legs.

Those rocky rock gardens made me feel good, if you want to see innovation put those trials like in slopestyle courses. Like trials hops on rocks to barspin landing, and they could choose different lines. Also help integrate the "mountain" aspect to slopestyle. Would definitely improve slopestyle.

The new MRP Ribbon is wicked! Super plush off the top, and the ramp control lets you adjust the bottom end on the fly to suit any trail you're riding!

Yeah, light is smart for a bike, but I always relate heavy to strong. It was interesting at the hobby shop the other day, there were two propellers, one carbon fibre, one wood, same size, and the carbon fibre felt heavier. The shop owner said the carbon fibre one was much stiffer, and stronger, but I always had massive expectations of carbon fibre for it to be heavier than a wood equivalent.
