My clutch was totally dry, and notchy after a few months. There was no grease in there when I opened it up to service it. But no rust either like others have mentioned. I would check it even if it is new, to make sure it has grease or enough grease in there. Other than the dry clutch quirk, this is by far the smoothest shifting and best performing drivetrain from any manufacturer, ever. Well, at least in my 20 years of this sport. Shimano deserves a lot of credit for such a well refined system.

Had the same experience. 5 minute service. Use the correct clutch grease. Running smooth and fine. Curiously dry to start though. Makes me wonder if the correct or grease, enough grease or any grease was on the clutch to begin with.

They really nailed it with this bike. Stock or Lars build.

So good. Hopefully this brings on a new generation of silent hubs.

This guy deserves a premium ride and contract. Such as solid all around rider. Much more than a trials guy.

Very cool. And we just need to know which Maxxis tires to run.
Maybe a braking traction test, next, if possible to compare accurately and scientificishly.

Gotta wonder why he keeps coming back and risking so much when he gets none of the recognition he earns and deserves.

The original Mojo and HD frame curves were so unique and iconic looking. Perfect. And way ahead of their time. Each new generation of Ibis' look like a distorted and disjointed interpretation that original design, with a little early Nomad mixed in. The original frames look more "modern" than the newer generations. Would be nice to see Ibis go back to those flowy frame lines that started it all for them in the carbon era.

Aluminum frame. Is this because he prefers the aluminium over carbon, or because carbon is not available for this platform?

PUSH Industries has been building and tuning my suspension for close to 15 years on my trail bikes. Every single time the fork and or shock comes back "feeling" and performing better than stock. This has translated to more fun on the trail and faster times on the clock. In addition to the tuning, PUSH provides setting recommendations which is super helpful. I believe that not only is the valving work PUSH does improving performance but also and probably equally an attention to the small details with quality seals, grease and fluids. Custom tuned suspension has always been a high value investment for me.
