Organizers of The Outerlocal Summer Games, the adventure festival for mountain athletes that will debut July 7, 2012, at Snow King Mountain in Jackson, WY, announced today that registration for all components of the event is now open. Participants may register at athlete360.com.

Each day, the Games continues to evolve as organizers work with community members to create a dynamic, singular event. At the base of the mountain, Snow King’s Phil Baux Park—home to the Teton Boulder Park—will become the focal point for the Games as athletes, outdoor industry companies, nonprofits devoted to outdoor recreation, food vendors and musical acts gather for the day. The Games are being presented by Outdoor Research.

The 1st Annual summer games put on by Outer Local will include four competitive events alongside product demonstrations, free clinics, free classes, and live music. The four events held will be mountain biking, trail running, bouldering, and paragliding in three divisions of pro, rec, and fun. Outer Local is excited to bring a mountain biking race to the Snow King trail system, just a few blocks from downtown Jackson.
