After spending most of my 20's chasing my dreams of racing my bike at the highest level, over the last few years, I've found myself focusing on new goals. Year after year preparing for the upcoming season, I would always sit and write down my strengths, my weaknesses, and draw up a plan on how to continue to get stronger, create efficiency in everything I do, and be a better bike racer.
Now living in Burlington, Vermont, I work full time as a mechanical engineer and my wife Melanie and I have a 5 month old daughter named Charlotte. We love being parents and love showing Charlotte the world. With that, racing looks a bit different than it did five years ago. I love riding and racing bikes. It has taught me so much about myself, it has given me lifelong friends from all over the world, and it has given me the tools to overcome challenges in life. Bikes will always be a part of my identity, and I'm enjoying redefining myself as we move into this new chapter. I find myself now sitting and thinking about my strengths, thinking about my weaknesses, and drawing up a plan on how to be a better partner, dad, and person.
